Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwitzerlandDuring my 3 nights stay, the cleaning staff didn't go into the room at all the 2 in-between days. I know that I had the "do not distrurb" label for a couple hours each day, but I was away from the room for several hours. Additionally, when I was preparing to leave/checkout, they tried to come in. They should know that I would check out and check with the receiption if I did first (like other hotels do).
The staff on the reception was super accomodating. Especially the greek woman and the italian guy. Thank you for making it a wonderful stay.

Short walk from the train station. Very very clean room. Breakfast was also decent. Super friendly staff, they kindly explained about the free public transport ticket to the city center. Handy shared kitchenette in the lobby area, you can warm up your food there.

GermanyIf you are coming by car, they do have a parking garage, but remember to book in advance! Otherwise you can pay for parking in the street for which they have a detailed "how to" manual. The hotel is located close to a train station but outside the city centre, which can be reached by bus in 10 minutes.
The breakfast was excellent and the rooms were spacious and clean.

SlovakiaOn the downside, we didn’t expect to have to park on a public street. We arrived in the evening after several hours of driving, and all we wanted was to get some rest. Unfortunately, the process of registering through the app was quite complicated and time-consuming. Luckily, the receptionist was extremely patient and guided us through it step by step. In the end, we managed to find a parking spot just a few minutes from the hotel, but being tired, carrying the luggage back was not ideal.
We really appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel, the possibility of late check-in, and the very comfortable beds. The gentleman at the reception was not only very helpful but also cheerful and funny, which made the whole experience more pleasant.

ItalyNot much storage space in forniture for our clothes. The price is not cheap. The view from the window was not great. The staff was only sufficiently helpful and kind (for instance they seemed always so busy working at the computer that they did not greet and did not respond always to greeting; they replied if asked something).
The room and the bathroom were nice, clean and spacious. The location was really convenient to visit St. Gallen without being in the center.

The bed itself was really comfy, bathroom shower always had hot water, rooms large, shutters on the windows to keep the sunlight out, excellent location with supermarket a 3 min walk and easy to catch the train into St Gallen Old Town.

Public transport is closed by and very good. Would highly recommend. Breakfast is superb. Room was very clean, great size.

GermanyThere was no private parking, but it was easy enough to find parking and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was pretty average but still expensive. We spilled something at breakfast and the staff member was very annoyed - it was an accident, but the attitude of the staff member was unpleasant. There are not many food places nearby, but there is a hotel vending machine. The snacks are very expensive (14 CHF for insta noodles!). Some more reasonably priced food/snacks at the hotel would have been a plus.
It was practical and clean. Super close to the train. Most of the staff was friendly.
