Only downside was on my floor there was on toilet and one shoulder between four dorms and I was in a 6bed female dorm.

As far as hostels go this is probably one of the best I’ve stayed in in a while! Towels provided, the bed was actually so comfortable, soft pillow and quality duvet. Huge kitchen, storage lockers and the lady at reception was so helpful which places to get a good coffee, best spots for sunset/ sunrise etc. and the location is right next to main-train stations or the heritage train to Gornergrat. Niche comment but the bed frames were so sturdy you couldn’t feel the other person getting up/ down the top bunk!

One toilet and shower for the ground floor - although I never found myself waiting!

The female dorms were great. A light and power at each bed, bed was comfy. Had space to move around and there were lockers in the bedroom. The facility was clean and Aggie (receptionist) was awesome, helpful and friendly. Everything was clean and had everything you need.

Not much complaints other than there isn’t that many showers, sinks, or toilets so you have to plan accordingly.

There is no locker for luggage in the room, or basement, or they won't give it to you, claiming all are occupied when many are actually empty. Limited front desk in-person service. When I arrived, it was fine, but I have seen others struggle when they need help. There is only one shower and one toilet per floor.

Just cross from the train station! You don't have to drag luggage through the town. I love the beds; they give a lot of privacy between the bunk beds and the upper and lower.

Cons: - Note only one shower per floor. So just keep in mind to take a shower in the evening or late morning to avoid the rush. - Cleaning lady yelled at me and another tourist when we entered the kitchen when she was cleaning the floors. Recommend the hotel to include a sign so people don’t enter during cleaning times.

Pros: - Friendly reception - Rooms are comfortable and clean. The bunks are designed to give you some privacy and a nice long shelf with power points and lights. Temperature was consistent even during summer. - Kitchen has equipment so you can make meals. Please note it’s an industrial kitchen so please make sure you keep an eye on your food and smoke as to not trigger any alarms. - Cleaning staff are very passionate about their job. - Does have one washer and dryer but it only takes Swiss francs. Come prepared. - The location is a few steps from the station. Incredibly close. - This accomodation was beautifully aesthetic on the outside with lovely flowers. - Bathroom was clean and new.

The location is wonderful. Though we didn't meet the counter, we still could check in smoothly. The kitchen is great and shower rooms are quite available. The luggage room is very helpful.

Clean and comfortable and in a good location. Everything went smooth and you could store your luggage before and after check in/out. A bit pricey for a bed in a dorm but I guess that is as much as you get in Zermatt.

Price was higher than I’d like, but low relative to other hotels in the area and good value for money.

Great location, great room (had a view of the Matterhorn!), even with a shared bathroom we never had to wait to use it and it was always completely clean, loved the shared kitchen (was always clean too and it was so good to be able to cook rather than eat out), staff were helpful, the washer and dryer worked well and didn’t have to wait too long to use them either!

A location next to 2 train stations and city centre and value for money liked the theme naming the rooms with the 8000 metres peaks and other good mountains 😁.Mountaineers will like the stay.

Ideally located in front of Zermatt train station and next to the Gonegrat furnicular station, and a short walk to Coop, McDonald's and other eateries and shops, the check-in and check-out process was easy. Luggage storage securely available with a key card, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice to sit with other guests in the shared kitchen, dining and living areas.
