This hotel was an excellent choice. My room was stylish, spotless, and very comfortable. Even without air conditioning, it stayed pleasantly cool - thanks to the cleaning staff who thoughtfully left the fan running, making it a welcome retreat in the afternoon. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I especially appreciated the quiet ambiance, which made for a restful night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were warm, professional, and always helpful. The location is also perfect, well-connected by public transport and within walking distance of many of Basel’s main attractions, restaurants, and cultural spots. I’d happily stay here again.

The location is not in the center, but it is next to the exhibition hall. The room's interior color is quite dark. The shower's hot water was unstable, but it was okay since it was summer.

Since it’s June, the room did feel warm, and there is only a fan in the room, no air con. But the fan did pretty well and was just about enough at night when we were trying to sleep, but definitely could’ve done with some air con.

Our room had everything we needed pretty much, great location with the trams right outside, the staff were lovely and very helpful.

Our room was small and the view was not good. The lighting in the room was not good. There were 2 interigation lights (bedside lamps) that pointed out to the room at either side of the bed and another overhead light. Lighting needs to be be improved.

The room was a bit tight to maneuver around. But for all the pluses it was manageable.

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed and felt right at home. The room was efficient and had everything we needed. The location was convenient to pick up the trolleys to get around town, and on check in guests receive a Basel Card that gives you free passage on all public transportation as well as 50% off most museums. Breakfast was a delightful spread of hot and cold selections, coffee, tea, juices and fresh fruit. The staff were the highlight! Had a helpful suggestion whenever it was needed, with a friendly smile.

The staff is kind and helpfull. They kept our suitcases two weeks until we came back from bikepacking. The rooms are very clean! In the room there was a bed for a child/third person above our bed. We bumped into it few times... The breakfast too expensive, so we didn't eat there.

Lovely hotel, very helpful staff. I was in a technically "single" room but it was very spacious, bed was a small double rather than just a single. Very clean, good location. Even had a little balcony with a table and chairs!
