The single room was super small, with limited space. I wish there was a small fridge.

Location couldn't be better, in the very center of the town - which comes with some minor crowd noise. The single room was really tiny but well appointed and everything works fine. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was varied and high quality.

Good quality breakfast. The hotel is located in the centre of town so very convenient for bars, restaurants, and shopping. The high street lift linking to the main bubble is just a few minutes walk away and ski hire is also very close.

Unfortunately my room looked out to the village square. In the evenings this was fine but when trying to sleep much later it was annoying to have the noise at 1:30am! Rooms were warm because of the lovely weather so you needed to keep window open! Earplugs were available at reception so I fear this must have been a regular problem.

The staff were friendly, excellent facilities and great location in the centre of the village. Cablecar pass was included in the package and was a great bonus. Breakfast was good. All continental. Had evening meal one night, food was delicious.

Everything was good!

The hotel staff was extremely friendly, very helpful and welcoming. We felt like home over our short stay. The room was comfortable and clean, beds are great for a good rest after a hike. The location was awesome, all shops are nearby, cablacars within reach, amazing view to the mountains from the balcony.

Such a nice and big room with a view. Coffee machine and water boiler in the room. Staff was very helpful. We got even free Bergpass and we could use some of the cable cars for free.

Small basic room but that what i was looking for and had the best value for money in this trip. guests get free bus voucher and 20% discount for the car cables for Oeschinensee Lake(highly recommended if it's not a rainy day!). Wonderful breakfast included!

There was a little bit of confusion at first to find the apartment and parking space. It is a few minutes walk away from the hotel itself. This was not explained to us in advance, but it was easily resolved once we spoke to reception.

We had booked the studio apartment which was very nice. It has a reserved parking space very close by, albeit at an extra cost. Breakfast was great and the hotel restaurant is also very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially as Swiss-German is not our first language.

Staff of both hotel and restaurant were exceptional. Freshly renovated rooms and restaurant. Restaurant has great Swiss food (try Bären-Schnägge to get sth you cannot get every day). PS: other great (non-Swiss) dinner choices are BrynWilliams @ Hotel The Cambrian and S'Zimmer @ Hotel Viktoria Eden, both worth envy penny and und 10min away from Hotel Bären.
