We loved this hotel, very friendly & helpful staff. The room was superb and the bed & pillows so so comfortable disappointed we only stayed 2 nights. Only ten minutes to the river with a free concert on the Saturday night, Also some great restaurants nearby. We’d happily stay again and can recommend this hotel especially if going on a cruise down the Rhine as the dock is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi away.

Large comfortable rooms, perfect location for the Congress Centre, and easy access to public trasnport. Good showers. Good breakfast selection.

Upon cleaning the number of bath towels left were incorrect but this was quickly resolved. Having Lock on the bathroom door would be a good addition

Excellent breakfast , Great location with walking distance to the centre and tram services opposite the hotel. Welcoming staff. Club room access was an extra bonus offering refreshments and a few snacks and sweets. Basel card was great with half price of admission to places like the zoo and free public transport

Everything was good.

The location was excellent because it was right next to the Congress center where my conference happened - Wordcamp. and it had restaurants nearby which was very helpful for my team dinner. Also, it had good breakfast and an excellent Gym which helped me a lot during my stay. Room was neat and clean and had everything i needed. Plus I got a good room where sun light was falling through the windows which was excellent.

It was a little expensive. We did not get the breakfast at the hotel but found cappuccinos and pastries etc. close by for much less.

Independently booked a night in preparation for a Viking Cruise with our friends. There was a Viking desk that just happened to be there which was helpful to find our dock. It seems Viking uses this hotel for the pre cruise package. Comfortable bed and nice bar/ lounge downstairs. They held our luggage since our room was not ready. Concierge was helpful and quite friendly. It is close to the Convention Center and Sbahn stop.

View was somewhat limited though a "port hole" style window and view as of convention center; interesting architecture, but not a splendid city view.

Very nice room and well-functional bathroom. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable and everything functioned and was easy to use. Just a few steps from the local trolley that's free with hotel-provided City Card.

just what you would expect from a Marriott hotel. It's clean, the bedroom facilities are great. The size is great. The overall comfort is great. Access to everything is easy. Staff are exceptional in knowledge and helpfulness.

I did not have breakfast as CHF 40 is too expensive for my needs. The armchair is not very comfortable for a evening in.

Location was great for Morgestraich - just a 10 minute walk. Room was a good size.

Location is perfect for the Basel Messe but also for many activities in the city. Breackfast perfect and rooms very confortable. Staff very helpful.

Breakfast and shower

The breakfast was very good, well stocked, all tastes and diet needs catered for. Caring staff. Bed was a little firm, and pillows soft. Very glad we stayed there and would stay there again. It is a little further from the old town but a tram is at the door and the hotel gave us a free tram pass.

Room was slightly overheated (can be adjusted) and the heater (fan) made some noise during the night.

Hotel is conveniently situated next to the messe and tram stops. The tram brings you to the city center in a few minutes. A stay at Marriott grants you the Basel Card (free public transportation + 50% off activities such as museums). That was a huge plus. The room is spacious and clean. Modern room + bathroom. I appreciated the kind gesture of a hand written note and chocolate cake for my birthday.
