However, we sincerely apologize for the unpleasant odor issue in your room - this is absolutely not acceptable for a hotel of our caliber. Your concern about strong air freshener potentially masking other odors is taken very seriously. We have immediately escalated this to our housekeeping management and facilities team to investigate our room preparation procedures and ventilation systems. Every room should have fresh, clean air without any need for masking agents.
