Cooking: no cooking is allowed at the hotel. Even boiling water. Due to the fire alarm. But you can get a hot water at the front. Though we brought some food to save expenses so it was quite surprising.

Location: it’s near the Interlaken West. considering every activity is based on Interlaken Ost, it’s not that in a perfect location. But it’s close to the bus stop. Clean: Room was clean and housekeeping is in everyday. Nice. Noise: Quiet. Staff: They were so nice and kind.

Family-owned hotel in beautiful old building with some rooms having shared bathrooms. Clean and well kept, with opening windows and balconies for some rooms. Location is excellent between Interlaken and Wilderswil with restaurants and laundry nearby. From my balcony I could see Mt. Eiger.

Everything was fine. Would have been interesting to have a fridge in the room to keep water cold. It was quite warm during our stay.

Simple basic rooms was good place to stay. It offered the essential for our 3 night stay. Room and shared bathroom very clean. They would check the rooms daily. We stayed in the begging of June and it was not busy. Staff was always helpful and they gave us a guest card to use the city bus. There is a market nearby and some coffee shops. The train station is a 20 minute walk either east or west. Unfortunately the bus runs only until 19h30 during summer. But if you don't mind walk it's quite nice!

Bathroom sharing - capacity for 7 rooms is less, WiFi speeds reduce drastically and disconnect when more people are around.

As someone living in a warm climate, I was appalled of having no fans in the room so we had to open the window all night for air. There were some bugs when we woke up in the room but not that big of a problem.

We decided to book at Interlaken to be our base for Switzerland. We easily took buses/trains to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen and even went as far as Zurich day trip. We had a window room so the view was pretty amazing in the morning and you can even see the Swiss Alps.

The shared showers didn't feel super clean. I noticed mold in various parts of the shower stall. The shower curtain had a lot of soap scum/color at the bottom. Also felt strange that everyone used the same bath mat. Our room faced the road and there was quite a lot of road noise, so bring the ear plugs!

Pretty decent location for the price. I appreciated that everything I was looking for was in the room (extra blankets, towels, shower soap/shampoo, hair dryer, lamps). Also nice that there were 2 twin beds. Reception/staff were great. Easy bus ride to fantastic hiking locations

Very nice manager that helped us with everything we needed, superkind!! Feels like staying at your grandmothers place with flower prints on towels and bed sheets. Bus stop just outside that could take us to all the nearby adventures!

Communal showers. The showers curtains were dirty and smelt. The towel mats were always soaked with water and I didnt take flipflops. Rooms are small functional but clean and the beds are small but good. The views from the rooms are great

The hotel was on the outskirts of Interlaken therefore quieter. There was public transport and shops within walking distance. A walk to the centre of Interlaken is only 15-20mins dependent on fitness

It became too hot on a day and keeping the window open was not an option due to the anticipation of rain as well as the pillows are extremely soft leading to some neck pain.

The staff was welcoming and flexible. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and clean. And its locations is amazing ! All in all a good place for a couple of nights !

Shower head needed replacement or fixing as it was squirting out into the face.

The hotel is a great location, a few minutes walk to the nearest bus- we were given free tickets for bus from hotel. The place was well kept & clean. We had a beautiful view from our room. The staff were kind and helpful, overall a lovely stay.

Housekeeping tended to come about 8:30-9 each day!

The owners were so lovely and helpful. The bed was cosy and I had a tv to relax with at the end of the long walking days. Everything was very clean. It was useful to have a lift for luggage too.

No air-conditioning. It was great to have a bathroom but it was very small. However, it was adequate and we had expected to have a shared bathroom.

It was close to bus stops and we could catch the bus to the train to take us to Grindelwald. Our host gave us advice on how to use the local transport.

There has free bus connection to Interlaken OST &WEST. Interlaken-Mattern is a nice place to stay with. The room we booked doesn't has a private toilet, which is not convenient. There has elevator in the hotel, and COOP, restaurant, laundry room are all in the same street within 3mins walk.
