The view is gorgeous and The Host is helpful and friendly , View from balacony is amazing . Too much quiet inside Buildings. Interlaken 10 minutes away .

Nothing to complain about!

Everything was absolutely super great! We eat at the terrasse and Dani made super delicious food. The view is stunning. They have cats and a dog that is super friendly. Everything was just amazing.

Pricey but as is everything in Switzerland. Also no A/C in the room, which is also common for the area.

Great hosts, beautiful location, very cozy wooden rooms. Breakfast is great with magnificent views. Dani is a super welcoming host, as is Heidi - the Bernese that comes to hang out at breakfast and give you high fives for treats.

This is easily the best place we have stayed in throughout several months of our Europe trip. Dani, Linda (and Heidi) made us feel right at home from day 1. Their tips, insights and stories made for a fantastic experience. They make a genuine effort to personalise experiences and look after each individual guest. The view from our room was straight out of a postcard and captured Switzerland perfectly. Away from all the crowds and noise. Wish we could have stayed longer!

There was no lift but it wasn't a big deal. Very little restaurants nearby.

Beatenberg/Interlaken was our last stop in Switzerland and our stay at Hotel Fassbind was perfect. The breakfast was superb (everything was fresh). The view from our rooms was stunning. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Although the place was a bit old, it was charming. The furniture was all beautiful and vintage. Our host, Dani, was very friendly and warm. He made us feel at home at his place. It was like staying with a friend. The property was a 25-min bus ride from Interlaken. The bus rides were free because we had guest cards. There's a nearby trekking trail that we explored one morning. Stunning views of the lake and the mountains. (Bonus: Dani's dog, Heidi, is the most adorable thing you'll ever see.)

The location is absolutely amazing, overlooking the lake and the mountains behind it, its breathtaking. The hosts were very kind and attentive. The hotel is very old and authentic, however the amenities (like bed mattress and bathroom) are all fully updated and are completely sufficient for a pleasant stay. The hotel owners have a dog and two cats that you can pet which we absolutely loved, but this might not be for everyone. The breakfast was all locally sourced - the owners take great pride in the food.
