The bathroom could do with a bit of an update, but everything worked and was clean, so wasn’t an issue. Pool temperature varied considerably, was so cold on last day we gave up, but had enjoyed it the rest of the week.

Stunning location, amazing to swim in the pool looking at the mountains with the distant chiming of cowbells! Great choice at breakfast set us up for the day, very friendly and helpful receptionist on arrival, large family room with balcony gave us plenty of space. Playground and table tennis table an added bonus. Loved the quiet village of Wilderswil, perfect for train links to Interlaken and beyond, or into the valleys south. The last part of the walk up to the hotel from the station is a bracing challenge especially after a long day out in the mountains, but certainly kept us fit! Would definitely stay here again.

If you have a car this is easy to get to. If you are taking the train or the bus there's a significant uphill walk.

The views from the balcony were amazing. The lovely little tables outside in the Garden area were so nice to sit at and look at the countryside which was gorgeous. Staff was friendly and helpful

Location is not very convenient. Need at least 10-15 mins walk to the nearest bus station. there is no stores to buy stuff nearby. We need to take the bus to the train station to do basic shopping.

The properties overall could do with a little bit of love and modernisation and the breakfast was average at best.

The location of the hotel is unreal, perfectly situation is picturesque Wilderswil on the edge of the Jungfrau. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

You can hear each footstep of the neighbours above. Behind on maintenance: loose tiles on the bathroom floor which otherwise was good, peeling paint on the balcony racks and division between the balconies, etc. A pity because it’s a beautiful grand old place and this lack of maintenance is starting to become more apparent with each stay.

The location and view are outstanding. No passing traffic as it’s at the end of the street above the village. Quiet and still just a short walk down to Wilderswil. A view of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau from your balcony and the hotel garden and pool. A beautiful grand old place. Good and ample parking.

Everything was great and they surprised us twice. One for birthday and another one for wedding anniversary. It was one of our greatest experiences. We will definitely return to the same hotel next time.

- no air con but did have fan. I’m not sure if this is quite common in Switzerland though? - room very basic and tired (no mirror in room, wardrobe doors missing, old plug sockets) it all needs updating, new paint and carpets, new balcony railings (woodwork peeling/rotting). Had a bit of a stale smell on walking in room. - For the money paid, I think it was overpriced.

The setting is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature and the view is stunning. Great base for Jungfrau region and nicer than staying in interlaken (we had hire car). Lovely view from big balcony and nice pool. Clean. Breakfast was decent enough. Hotels and restaurants in town/village were nice to walk down to for a drink.

The room was very old fashioned, the floor was creaking a lot. We got a very little room we hardly had space with our little baby boy. Breakfast was ok, but they should improve the fruit & vegetables variety. Hotel is a 10 minutes walk from the train station, last few meters is uphill.

The view was beautiful to the peak of Jungfrauroch. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

The Hotel didn’t serve evening meals, just breakfast. There was a Hotel down the hill where we had dinner. But it was a walk up the hill back to hotel with no buses.

It was at the top of a hill in the countryside with amazing views. The staff were helpful and friendly. The maids did a good job every day tidying our room.

There weren't enough signs pointing to the hotel, so finding it on the first day was a hassle. Need more signs in the neighborhood! Breakfast buffet was good, but was a little disappointed that some people left large amounts of food on their tables, so it was a bit of a waste.

The view from the room balcony was breathtaking! Amazing view if the Alps! We could walk through the village, see sheep and cows, water fountains, local resdents.

The hotel itself needs some serious renovation. Hotel owner should pay very attention to their guests reviews. The floor in our room was cracking a lot, breakfast area could use some ambient music in the morning. Note that your balcony is relatively private, there’s only a wooden separator between the balconies and you can hear everything what tour neighbors are talking. Pretty expensive for the value you get.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Also the mountain view did not dissapoint!

Even though the views are nice, the price is definitely too high for what the hotel and especially the room was. The furniture and the overall design is very outdated. We were told that the breakfast is untill 10 AM, at 9.15 the buffet was empty and all the tables were still having dirty plates on them. There was only 1 staff member which had to do all from tables cleaning to cooking eggs, definitely more staff is needed to take care of the breakfast.
