How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Automatic check in and codes system is pretty confusing. And when finally got to the room beds weren't done, O had to go to look for personel to make my bed

Our access codes were not available for us upon arrival and required us to track them down manually. An unexpected inconvenience. My room was quite small and compressed, and faced the back parking lot, so I had the inconvenience of lots of noise from other arriving and departing guests and their vehicles. And we had to request housekeeping service since our rooms had not been cleaned by early afternoon.
Breakfast was fine, though I would've appreciated the daily availability of some apples and bananas, in addition to the other prepared fruit. In town location of the hotel was convenient and allowed for easy walking access to the local environment.

Price was too high, especially on the weekend.
Everything was nice, friendly staff (especially the Portuguese guy was super helpful and friendly), nice restaurant. Having a parking is a plus, which was not free and not so easy to park.

The check-in was a nightmare. The codes did not arrive promptly and we had to phone the absentee manager. Entry to the rooms was exceptionally difficult as the key method was complicated.

For the room I stayed in during the first two nights, there were some hairs on the bed linens, which was unpleasant. I was in a hurry when changing rooms, so the room was a bit messy. I'm sorry about that. The bed linens in the new room are clean, but the bathroom is too small. It might be a bit difficult for people with a larger build. The faucet has separate hot and cold water.
The staff are very enthusiastic and friendly. Especially the girl with black hair in a ponytail. When I changed the room, a gentleman also helped me carry the suitcase upstairs. The location is nice, very close to the supermarket and the cable car station. The bed is quite comfortable. The room is not too small, and there is enough space for the suitcase. There is even a balcony.

Modest breakfast.
Nice accommodations and very helpful staff. Great location in center of Andermatt. Parking was limited due to snowfall requiring 22 CHF paid parking approx 500 meters from hotel (not a bad walk though). Modest breakfast.

The room is very basic, with no mini fridge, no TV ( we were here over Christmas and would have loved watching Christmas movies at noght), and no coffee machine. The breakfast is very basic (cold meats, cheeses, breads and spreads, yogurt, and Meusli and Cereals)
Conveniently located. The restaurant has a great vibe,we had lunch here one day, and it was good. The family room has a big balcony. The room is spacious. The bed is comfy. The room is not too hot or too cold. Access was easy with access codes and communication was effortless. Hosts was very friendly and helpful.

The sound isolation isn’t enough, you can hear noise from the next room. The value to rent a room with a shared toilet is a little bit high.
The location was great. Close to the train station with 5 minutes walking. The room was clean. The hotel building is very beautiful.

A little noisy between rooms. Shared bathroom was ok but would of been easier if the toilet was separate from the shower especially in the mornings
