United StatesThe restaurant was closed both days we were there. The staff could have been friendlier. Every time I asked a question I got the feeling I was annoying them.
Check in instructions were easy to follow. Room was clean and comfortable. Beautiful view.

United StatesIt is a bit out of the way, so if you are looking fir a quiet spot it's great. The bus runs every 30 min and takes about 10 min to get to downtown. Just check the schedule in advance so you don’t wait. The prices were still high in my opinion, but this is Swisszerland!
The bedroom was large and comfortable, with a nice bathroom too. Bed was very comfortable. And I had the view both to the garden and the mountains. Breakfast was very good and copious and staff very responsive to my questions before I arrived. I was able to go hike Grosse Scheidegg directly from the hotel.

The room had a great view. It was charming and cute. The breakfast served was good. They give you a card which lets you travel on bus 121 for free. Which runs every 30 mins and takes you to the centre of town. Free parking is great to have as parking like every other thing in Switzerland can be quite expensive

Beautiful mountain views all around, very convenient parking, and a restaurant right in the hotel. It was close enough to the centre of Grindelwald for easy access, but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet.

FranceThere was no electrical outlet in the bathroom and no mirror in the main room, so blow drying my hair was a bit of a challenge. An inexpensive mirror near an outlet in the main room would be great. But this is minor and more of a suggestion for the hotel than a real complaint.
The location was great! Beautiful view and the bus stop was right at the hotel with free bus service. I parked my car at the hotel and was able to take the bus every day. Lovely and delicious breakfast buffet as well.

Switzerlandcozy hotel with a spectacular view. The public transportation bus stops right next to the hotel (it is about 2-3 km downhill to the center of Grindelwald). The hotel is very quiet (no traffic at night).

The location is further from Grindelwald but a free bus stops right outside. Staff were friendly and helpful but were not in your face all the time. The view from the restaurant terrace was spectacular.

United StatesThe hotel is almost at the end of the Bus yellow line. If you don’t have a car, during winter; the last bus goes up at 7:30 pm which would be an earlier end of your day. Because an uber from downtown Grindelwald was 45 euros, a lot for a short distance.
Great place to stay in front of the mountains. Amazing view from the rooms that are in front of the property.

United Arab EmiratesThe staff is quite sarcastic and rude. They always give you twisted answers as if letting us stay for free. The wifi was weak and no kettles in room. We had to think twice before asking the staff for anything as they were quite sarcastic, rude and seemed quite frustrated with their job. As there was no kettle, we requested for hot water in our bottle and the staff acted as if it was a burden for them to give it. Same with the wifi. The general wifi has no connection in the rooms but there were 2 other networks which had range but the staff refused to share it and just said “sorry, can’t do anything. The WiFi here isn’t great”. The staff needs to understand that we don’t come on vacation to deal with other people’s rudeness and frustration.
The property is beautiful and rooms too.
