The location is convenient, bus stops right in front of and beside the hotel, and it's just a 10–15 minute walk from the train station.

The hotel is expensive. I wish there were more breakfast options - there were no scrambled eggs, sausages or bacon, which was a bit disappointing. But our overall stay was great.

We have had a very nice room with a beautiful mountain view. The receptionist was very nice ,in just a few minutes we've been in our room already.

The hotel was great. Staff were very kind and helpful. Room was spacious and had lovely views of the mountains. Breakfast was great with lots of options.

Clean and peaceful place. Comfortable beds, clean washrooms, hot water readily available. The location is excellent and central. Wonderful views of the mountains. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Just a suggestion to keep tea/coffee facilities in the room. Other than that, everything was great.

Very clean. Great location. Loved breakfast. We were able to store our bags while we hiked. Close to train station and a bus goes right by the hotel if you would rather ride than walk to/from train station. 8 minute walk.

The hotel is approximately half mile from the train station. We walked but you can take the 230 bus which would drop you off right at the cross street where the hotel is. The hotel was clean and well maintained, the beds were comfortable and there is a balcony that allows for a good view and fresh air. Room 207 would have a nice view more towards mountains. We stayed in 208 and the view was nice from there as well. The restaurant serves excellent meals. The restaurant is closed on Mon/Tues so you would have to find another place for your evening meals. Breakfast was good with a variety of food. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bus stops right outside the hotel. You can easily take a day trip to the town of Adelboden (bus 230) There is a pass that you can get from the hotel and then riding the bus is free. You can also take the train, but it didn't make sense to do so to this town as the ride as free and all the folks on the train had to eventually transfer to the bus anyway.

It seems that most of the hotels are along the main street which has a fair amount of traffic for a small town this one included. However this also makes it easy to catch a bus out of town for a day excursion.

The restaurant was closed on 2 of the 4 nights we stayed ( Monday and Tuesday) but not a problem as there were other places within walking distance.

Wonderful small Swiss style hotel! Located 5 minutes walk from the train station. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the Dündenhorn mountain! Amazing view! The room is clean and cozy. The staff is very friendly.

Lovely friendly family hotel in quiet location just off the centre of the village. Excellent food and lovely staff. Nothing was too much trouble. All that is best in the Swiss tradition of homeliness ("gemutlich"). The room was spacious and comfortable, with very well equipped bathroom and a great view up the valley. And it was very sensibly priced. I have holidayed a lot in the Lauterbrunnen Valley and this is much quieter and less spoilt. Some great walks around the valley. Oeschinnensee is spectacular but can get a bit busy. But Sunnbuel and Gasterntal are still very unspoilt - we were there in June and the mountain flowers were unbelievable - with great views as well. A lovely restful stay.

The room was very spacious for Swiss standards. The owners are super kind and welcoming. Location very close to the cable car is a plus
