Excellent hotel, spacious nicely decorated room with fantasic view to the Apls. The bed were super comfortable, had a L shaped large balcony with a panoramic mindblowing view of the swiss alps. The breakfast was excellent. The staff at the reception was coordial, offered me a mobile charge adapter. The staff at the restaurant was polite and attentive.

The staff were so helpful and friendly, they checked us in early. They were so knowledgeable about activities and even called to find out further information for us. The food and service exceptional. One of the best buffet breakfasts. The children loved it. Fantastic views. We loved staying just 5 mins out of the main busy part of town. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The hospitality was amazing. Peter & the staff in the hotel were so pleasant & helpful in every way. The sauna was clean & top notch. Most of all, our kids enjoyed the goats - every morning and every evening. The scenery is beautiful (mountains, greenery.) The proximity to the cable cars, the town (you can walk or take a bus that stops less than 1 min from hotel) were super convenient. Many areas to hike, walk. & lastly the food - amazing, flavorful and worth every penny. The chef is the best. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Omg! The place is soooo breathtaking! My family had a great time and we love the hotel and the staff. Saskia, the front desk staff was so helpful and friendly. She gave us pertinent info about the hotel, bus and about Grindelwald. The view is amazing and crisp! Best area to rest, relax and enjoy!! Highly recommended. Our family would love to go back. Note: my sons love your slusshies!!!

It wasn't a big deal as I wasn't there for the WiFi, but after a day of hiking, it would have been nice to have WiFi strong enough to stream a movie on my iPad but it wasn't. Also, the pillows on the bed were a little bit flimsy, but I was provided with another couple so problem solved quickly!

The location was excellent; Grindelwald itself is quite busy and sees a lot of foot traffic - either heading to one of the cable car stations or the well used train station - Hotel Bodmi is far enough away to feel quieter and more isolated, but is close enough to have easy access to all the cool things Grindelwald has to offer. Breakfast was delicious - not my usual thing but the family and I LOVED the fluffy pancakes! Number one for this hotel is the staff though - Peter and Saskia were particularly welcoming and helpful during our stay.

It would be nice if the hotel offered a shuttle after 6:40 pm (last yellow bus) for those who want to stay later in town. Otherwise expect to pay 30 francs for a one way ride back to hotel.

The panorama is incredible. You can "touch" the Eiger. And a few minutes to the train station. You can totally black-out the room with curtains, especially beneficial if you travel with small baby. The breakfast is something you can hardly find elsewhere: selection is very wide, and majority is locally sourced.

Loved everything from welcome drink to farewell drink. Breakfast and views were incredible. Each and every staff were kind and generous. If you want relaxing and peace stay in Switzerland, I recommend 100%. .

The hallways were dark and the bathroom of older design. In our room the shower was over the bath tub and awkward to use.

The location is incredible. The view of the Wetterhorn, Schreckhorn and Eiger from the terrace is quite beautiful. Bodmi is away from the crowds yet close enough to the village. The building is picture perfect Switzerland and our room was spacious. However it was the staff who made our stay most memorable. From the moment we arrived at reception we were treated with a personal and informative service where nothing was too much trouble, especially by Saskia who also worked in the restaurant. In the evenings we mainly stayed on the property for drinks and dinner, having ventured into Grindelwald and having dined at arguably the best hotel, we decided that Bodmi was our preference. Peter the head waiter and bar man was very attentive, knowledgeable and really made our stay special, introducing us to a Swiss gin and making delicious menu suggestions. He could not have tried harder to make our experience enjoyable. The meals prepared by Gabo the sous chef were delicious both at dinner and breakfast where there was an array of choices. It was a pleasure to meet the staff and we very much hope to return.
