Nice location clean very good restaurant

There was no lounge to sit

Great location - close to the lake beach and with walking distance of Brienz centrum. Very helpful staff with positive attitude. Ample parking spaces. Good breakfast.

No AC in the room. Pillows were not comfortable.

Room was spacious and bathroom new

Breakfast sitting was not the most pleasant, particularly on first morning. Second day, we were sitted in the bistrot area and this was better.

the view was amazing and bakery shop near location and free parking space, wifi was great.

Breakfast with limited option and same everyday. dining room has no space for everybody so they assign tables by name and even when you come early for a table with good view. with nobody in. you still need to sit at that table. it is far away from the center.

Very clean hotel and clearly being upgraded at the moment. The view from our balcony was beautiful but there was a hotel being built behind us and the noise from 7am was loud and annoying (no fault of our hotel). Parking was ideal and only a short walk to the lakeside was perfect.

For the money we paid I felt that we should have had (or been able to rent) a small fridge for our room. I would also have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The breakfast was delicious but it had no hot food (apart from a temperamental scrambled egg machine that gave you dry scrambled egg), not even a toaster, and I would prefer my bread toasted in the morning. The staff, some of which were lovely but a few that made my stay less enjoyable. There was a member of staff at breakfast that I literally was afraid to ask for help as they done an eye roll every time!

Great view, although advertised as no lake view, we had some, which was nice.

Breakfast is very poor, no options, little refills, not enough food for so many guests. Reluctance of staff, completely not friendly

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Brienz! The atmosphere was peaceful, the views were stunning, and everything about the hotel felt warm and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast was perfect — fresh, delicious, and a lovely way to start the day. I truly wish I could have stayed longer than just one night.

The only small point to note is that it's a little bit far from the train station.

Wonderful location and hostess. Isabelle is amazing and we had a lovely night at this place. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a special and authentic Swiss experience!

Wasn’t given enough towels, the sofa was used as third bed and hard as a rock. Mattress on bed also very firm

Location. Small, Botique hotel located slightly away from the main town. Excellent view of the lake, especially from the higher floors.

Breakfast spread can be slightly better. Considering you host so many non European tourists, the breakfast can be slightly better, no complaints though.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was absolutely amazing, varied breakfast, allocable and homemade produce, continually replenished, and dinner was out of this world. We have thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would definitely come back when again in Brienz. Wholeheartedly recommend.

This place has exceeded our expectations and we could not fault it on anything.

Breakfast was excellent - lots of options, beautiful view from the dining room. Room had a cute little balcony, and the view from there of the lake and mountains was just breathtaking.
