We didn‘t really „not like“ anything. In the summer season there may be more people passing by as the Chalet is at the hiking trail and there is no curtain in the living room - but that is still nitpicking

Great location, wonderful Chalet, well equipped kitchen and the interior is very high quality. The area is amazing, great views, and the fireplace is wonderful. It was very clean and absolutely everything was well maintained and lovely. Very recommendable as well outside of the summer or winter season - we very much enjoyed it.

Beautiful Views but Be Prepared for Access and Amenities Challenges

I recently stayed at this chalet, and while the view was stunning and the property itself was clean and well-kept, there were a few key things that made my stay less comfortable than expected. The biggest issue was accessibility. The drive up to the chalet is very steep and requires a 4x4 vehicle. I went with a sedan and faced a challenging and stressful time getting to and from the location. This significant detail wasn’t mentioned in the booking information or communicated after booking, which left us unprepared. Even after parking, reaching the chalet requires walking down a steep hill. If you’re traveling with a suitcase, or with children or elderly family members, this becomes quite difficult. Climbing back up with luggage is no easy task. Another issue was the hot water. It seems the hot water supply is only enough for about two people or two short showers. If you’re a larger group or staying longer, you’ll run into this problem quickly. The beds also weren’t very comfortable, which made it hard to rest well after long days. That said, the chalet itself is beautiful and clean, and if you’re traveling light with a group of friends, the experience could be fun and more manageable. The peaceful setting and mountain views are a highlight. I wish all these details were listed in the booking so guests could make a more informed decision and come prepared. Some pics for the way to the Chalet

Disappointing and to out of reach from the slopes and the village. Not suitable for older people

To reach the chalet you had to cross a ski piste and some snowy hills by feet which is just not do-able with suitcases and boxes with groceries. You cannot reach the chalet by car, which is no big deal if the way to the chalet is doable by feet like the pictures show, but in wintertime with snow it’s just too heavy and slippery. This chalet is a no go for older people since you really have to climb and slide to get to your chalet. If we knew this was the case beforehand we would not have booked a stay. We asked the manager to help us by informing if we could sky straight away from the house to the main station to make our daily trip a bit easier, but unfortunately he or she did not know and send us a copy of the ski plan of LaTzoumaz 🤔. We decided to climb up the slope every day and go by car to the next parking station where we get on our skies. If we knew we had to drive every day anyway we would have booked a cheaper chalet in another village and made the daily drive anyway. Furthermore we were with 5 people in the chalet, and after a day of skiing it is nice to have a shower. Unfortunately only two could take a shower each day due to the low capacity of the boiler in the house. We only took showers of 5 minutes to minimize the water usage. At the door of the chalet there is a picture with a recommendation to take with you your own carbidge 🙃. Apart from this being a weird usance for a chalet you rent with cleanings costs included, this is a very strange request. There is no indication on where to leave your carbidge outside the chalet or in La Tzoumaz and apart from that: do you really expect your customers to again go up and down by feet the ski pistes and the slippery paths with three bags of carbidge?

The chalet was very clean with nice views over the mountains and a fully equiped kitchen which was great.
