You need to take a funicular up to the property. Sometimes you’ll have to wait 5 mins for it.

I didn't like that not a single window had insect net. It was kind of difficult to let fresh air get in without any insects. Also I didn't like that the property is located close to the helicopter station and if you're choosing to eat breakfast or drink your coffee in the morning on the balcony, you'll hear the helicopter really loud. But if you're on the inside with windows closed, you can barely hear a thing - they isolate the noise really well. Another thing I didn't like, but maybe this is not the host's responsibility, is that other guests tried two days in a row to get into our apartment in the morning because they were trying to find the laundry room, which was next to us. Luckly we lock the door every night. Maybe more clear explanation to where the laundry room is could have prevented that.

I liked that the studio apartment was very clean and had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. The location is separated from the rest of the chalet, we had a quiet space for ourselves. The terrace is spacious and green, we had breakfast and dinner there, it's quite nice as you can get a view of Matterhorn. We were also visited by birds and a squirrel :) The kitchen is very well equipped, so we could cook and eat here some of our meals. We also used the kettle and the coffee machine for hot drinks. The bed is large and comfortable and the sheets were fresh and clean. I appreciate we had fluffy blankets to keep warm at night. You can get easy access to the property with a train like lift (very helpful when you have luggage or sore muscles from hiking) but you can also take the stairs. The host was very helpful, the communication and instructions for the check in and apartment usage were very clear. Also we were unlucky enough to have booked our first day of our stay when flooding occured and Zermatt was closed. The host kept the communication open and announced us when it was safe to check in. I also received a champagne on my birthday and chocolates. We also got some vouchers with discounts to some of Zermatt's top destinations and restaurants.

Property is well maintained, accessible, have a homely vibe away from home. Anita is superb, very accommodating, he and her husband get out of their way to provide what we need.

The hosts wife ANITA I think was a bit unpleasant. we called to ask her for something & she said and I quote " we are not a hotel, we are air bnb" which was pretty rude, & could have been Told better way

Very spacious chalet, super comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, barbecue, terrace and jacuzzi with views on the Matterhorn, 3 bathrooms, taxi from Täsch can stop in front of the elevator that goes to the chalet which is very convenient, we could also store our luggage when we checked-out until we left Zermatt later that day. Around 12-15 minutes walking distance to the station, but there is also a ski bus stop nearby. Very helpful owner, mailed us something we forgot at the chalet afterwards.

Bringing big bags is a challenge , need ramp to doors. E Taxi driver cheated us by bring us to the staircase end and we have to lug our bags down and they did nit help
