Beautiful location, pleasant little walk downhill to the chalet after collecting keys. Beautiful views of the mountains and helpful hosts.

Definitely not easy with luggage - best to pack light for this place. We were required to take the trash out on checkout, but there were no instructions on how; we ended up taking the trash all the way up the hill because we couldn't find it anywhere near the property, then found out at reception that there are trash bins at what sounded pretty far down the road below.
Spacious, clean, quiet, and close to town. View out the back of the Lauterbrunnen valley was amazing.

This is the third time we have stayed here. Well equipped and great location. The best views ever!

We always got down at Wengen station & hiked down to the Chalet. And hiked down to Wengwald to board the train. It would be good to have locks on the bathroom door, esp when multiple guests from different families are staying together.
We loved the location of this chalet & Julie was wonderful! Very prompt in all communication & super helpful. She gave us recommendations of local events as well.

Singapura16 comentários2 votos de comentário útil"Lovely scenery, a little far for luggages but perfect for exclusivity"The location was further downhill and at the last stretch, you have to walk on gravel. A little rough for people with huge suitcases. However, cabs were available for hire for 25CHF. This also meant you would have to walk uphill everyday to head to the town/ train station. My elderly parents took a bit longer for this. Also, only the first floor was available, not the whole house, so we were a little lost on the first day of check in.
The apartment was clean, there was a proper kitchen with oven, pots and pans, salt etc. We loved the scenery outside the balcony the most. It was truly a sight I will miss. The owner gave clear directions and also replied us very promptly via email and WhatsApp, which we really appreciated.

- Great location. Sitting over the clouds and near the edge of a cliff, Candian Chalet is at the vantage point in Wengen overlooking the Lauterbrunnnen valley and Staubbach falls. - Well furnished and full of amenities for a comfortable stay with family

Just be prepared for the slightly steep walk to and from the train station—it’s good exer"The duvet smelled like it hadn’t been washed in months, which was also obvious from its color. The pillow, too, was so flat that it lost all support as soon as you laid your head on it. There were a lot of bugs in the apartment as well especially in the main bedroom.
The view from the main bedroom was incredible, and from the porch—even better, especially if you walk down a few steps to the cozy sitting area. The property manager responded quickly when I reported the toilet flush being stuck. Someone came promptly and had it fixed right away.
