The Management. The agent was awful and would prevent us every coming back there again. He didn't answer any queries about the property (sent via Bookings.com), nor could Bookings.com Support Team get hold of him (to the extent they were going to refund the booking & get us in elsewhere. His number was unobtainable & he didn't answer emails. We finally got through to him via Whatsapp, - a medium he prefers but we didn't have (apparently he'd lost his phone but hadn't thought to tell anyone). We got some very brief answers. Subsequently when we arrived, we had to pick the key up "in an envelope behind a pillar"! and eventually got our Liberte passes late next day after chasing his partner at the office. This cost us a lot of time and anxiety at the beginning of the holiday. None of the other queries I raised during the holiday were answered, (including about paying the tourist tax). We never met him throughout the whole holiday! The Property. As I said above the property was generally very good. However it was poorly maintained and looked after. One fridge freezer door not working and left open with a cloth underneath. - my wife spent the first evening mopping up the floor at regular intervals. The agent did message us about it (after we'd discovered it) but gave us no indication of when it would be fixed (it wasn't). Some light bulbs not working (much too high for occupant to change (& no spare bulbs). The chalet is dark & this exacerbated the problem. It was very dusty under the beds (searching for bedside light flexes). Several of the basin plugs didn't work properly. A toilet holder was broken & on the floor & a toilet brush was broken & jammed back together with paper. None of these are very serious (except the fridge/freezer) but show a lack of care/attention from the agent, who should be checking these things.

The property itself was very good - probably a 4-5*. Lovely location, with great view from balcony and a 5 min walk to supermarket. Exceptionally well equipped, especially the kitchen. There were 2 full ensuites & 2 other bathrooms, so no fighting to get there first! The Hot tub worked well, was fun & really good on muscles after days on the mountains.
