How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

EV had 30% battery remaining, the charger outside declined all my credit cards despite the hotel could bill it without problem. I asked the front desk if they can help use a local card and bill me accordingly, and they declined. I had to risk driving back to town with the cars battery draining to zero. Extremely unhelpful.

However, as already explained at the time of your check-out, we would like to clarify that the charging station you used does not belong to the hotel, nor is it managed by our staff. It is, in fact, a public service provided by the Municipality of Veysonnaz and is entirely independent from our establishment. For this reason, we have no control over the provision of the service, nor the possibility to intervene in case of malfunction. Moreover, since it is not a service offered by the hotel, it is technically not possible to charge your booking credit card for its use. That said, we are always happy to assist our guests in getting in touch with external providers when needed, and we truly hope that this issue did not affect the overall quality of your stay. Verified reviewIt was expensive for the location and service at this time of year. Staff were often not present, there was no bar service. The hotel was massive, without atmosphere and outdated. But otherwise we amused ourselves with lively hikes.
The cost was not balanced with the service.

Overpriced for low season. Chf 100 for a room that literally faces the road (awful view). Had to upgrade to 150 for a mountain view. Bar and restaurant were closed. Breakfast in another hotel (but close). Unclear during booking if parking is free or at what price. All nearby commerce is closed. To promote the hotel they could just give all people the mountain view for 100 during low season

To be honest is the worst hotel or guest house where I stayed for sure not worth to pay that amount of money for it . 1) everything is so old the sofa was broken , bathroom very old. 2)at the bathroom the light was not working all the time I went to the reception and I was socked by the answer “it’s normal” that some time is working after 20 seconda other time is not working .. 3) breakfast very poor 4) you need to pay for the parking place 15CHF even if there was low season (could be an exception to encourage the tourists) 5) For the spa you need to pay extra 20chf per person/hour and is very very small and the sauna it doesn’t feel good was a bit weird 6) Internet is not working , I asked at the reception the only thing that they could so is restart router and after that was working for 1 day and happened again. I rarely leave bad feedback but this hotel needs at least to be renovated if not even change completely the policy

Verified reviewNice room with the stunning view (one of the best we've ever had) and a nice spacious balcony. The hotel also has lockers next to the ski lift where you can leave your ski and a separate room for the boots. Also super close to the lift itself, so very convenient for skiing holiday.
Breakfast was the same every day and no veggies. Perhaps it's not common to have a tomato or cucumber for the breakfast in Switzerland, but we would have appreciated it.

You could hear people outside and cars driving by. The curtains in the room were gauze and didn’t block any light. The pillows were lumpy and limp. The ski lockers were dingy and damp. Common areas tired and need refresh.

No wifi in the room. Tv connection problems. In the sauna some people go non-textile without asking. Personnel pay no attention to that unfortunately even when noted to them.
