Fabulous apartment with the most incredible views. Balcony facing the big mountains. Host very helpful. Super clean and well equipped. Best end of Mürren, quiet and not so many tourists, with routes easy to find up to mountain walks or cable cars.

The accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable. We prepared our own meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. The views were beautiful from the bedrooms and the balcony. The grocery store, train and cable car were all conveniently close. We enjoyed our stay in Mürren very much!

It was all perfect!

The location and views was perfect the apartment was huge and spacious yet cozy and had all the right amenities. Filly equipped with every kitchen item you need, the local Coop is a 2 min walk and the Schilthorn is on your on your doorstep to travel to Lauterbrunnen and Gimmewald. Annemarie is a supper host and we could not be happier with our stay.

Nothing! The place is just about perfect.

First off the price. I paid 1/2 to stay there for more nights than any place else on our holiday! The front balcony is fantastic. We drank a lot of coffee just admiring the view. Best shower ever!! Very clean. Close to gondolas for going down or up from murren.

Only thing to be aware if is that Murren has only one small laundry facility in town with one washer and dryer (at least at this point). Apartment has no washing machine so plan accordingly for longer stays. Wasn't a problem for us.

Everything was fabulous. View is breathtaking and everything is right outside your door. Our second time staying here and we were just as happy as the first time. Annemarie is a great host. Apartment is spacious, kitchen is fully stocked so cooking is no problem. Very clean and had two generous sized bathrooms.

Would be nice to have a couple of large towels each in the bathroom and two pillows each, but this is a really minor detail as the chalet and location are fantastic.

Most reviews of this property mention the view from the balcony and there's a good reason for this. Its stunning and pictures just don't do it justice. The Chalet is elevated so you look over the other houses in Murren. The location is quiet too. The accommodation is super clean, well equipped, amazingly insulated, comfy beds, lovely wool duvets and plenty of space. The Coop for all your grocery shopping is five minutes casual walk away down a slight hill and the Gondola both up and down the mountain a similar distance. I could happily spend months living in Murren and this Chalet.

Nothing to mention here - everything was perfect.

Just returned from an amazing week in Murren staying at Chalet Schonbuhl. Everything about the apartment was great. The views of the mountains over the town were wonderful. We spent many hours just relaxing on the balcony. It's in a prime, quiet location situated just above the main street so the views are not blocked by other buildings. It's also just a 3 minute walk to the gondola to go down to Stechelberg (or up to Schilthorn), as well as very close to the Coop for groceries. The interior was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen fully equipped for cooking meals at home. I highly recommend this apartment and will definitely book here again when we return to Murren.

Could’ve been cleaner (duvet covers/bedding/mattress had a faint smell). Not good isolation (owners living above are pretty quiet but we could hear whenever they were up at 5-6am since their floor was our ceiling). No ventilation in bathrooms (we kept the bathroom windows cracked open while there during the day but all the smells still lingered).

Spacious 3-bed 2-bath chalet with a nice balcon and mountain view close to the main skiing gondola. Relatively clean and the owner was attentive to our needs. Useful notes all around the chalet about what to do/what not to do etc.

Very difficult to find property. Poor commuinications re: arrival. Rented for four people, only linens for two which was corrected. The renter insisted it was our fault even though I went through the agency to verify correct #. The properry's name on the chalet would have been a huge help.

Beautiful views, charming village. Even though it was off season, good restaurants available and an excellent Co Op grocery a five minute walk away. Easy access to the cable gondolas.
