Didn't bother me at all, but worth being aware that this is a tall, thin property so if you stay at the top there's a lot of stairs to negotiate, so it's not suitable for people who have trouble walking.

Lovely property with friendly owners. I stay in a lot of chain hotels and this sort of place is so refreshing. I wish every small family run hotel was like this! Great value and exceptional location.

A good location, an amazing city and last but certainly not least the hosts were absolutely amazing, so friendly, helpful and nice. I would definitely go there again if I’m travelling to Thun!!!

Muna and Lucien were welcoming and friendly and sought to cater our needs (arranging a vegan breakfast on a short notice for example). The accomodation was located on a very central spot and was very homely.

Maybe not cheap by non-Swiss standards, perhaps not the newest facilities - but it was clean and very cozy, and the hosts were super lovely! Excellent breakfast too.

The property is located on the historic Obere Hauptgasse and can be quite noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. But don’t let that put you off!

The location was very good as it was close to train station and ferry. Muna was especially a fantastic host, genuinely interested and engaging about our trip. We stayed for 4 nights and breakfasts were exceptional. The best we have had for a long time. Muna paid special attention to my dietary needs. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Don’t be put off by the narrow staircase as we became accustomed to the historical building.

Great stay. Very traditional, so uou get to experience the genuine way of living in the sity. Right in the city ce ter. It eas very co fortable, all the facilities at your disposal and the staff was great.

Only drawback for us was the small double bed.

Muna and Lucien are fabulous hosts, friendly, informative, and speak multiple languages. Surprisingly quiet in the back of the property. Also surprisingly cool and quiet at night even in hot August. Secure storage for our E-bikes was nice. Very good breakfast! Again, Muna and Lucien are great hosts, I wish we were able to stay longer!

This room is superbly located in the center of historic Thun. The hostess Muna was absolutely charming! Personable, kind, punctual and spoke excellent English (thank you!). The building is very old, but clean and the room was very comfortable. The shared bathroom was fine: small but efficient and again - spotlessly clean. We felt welcome and would have loved to stay longer if our schedule permitted. Check-in and out was super easy. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend!

We had a top floor room that was too warm with the window closed because of rain, so we used the fan and Muna provided a light blanket to use instead of the duvet.

Muna & Lucien were so nice. They helped us with where we wanted to go and how to get there. They were interested in what we did and how we liked it. Breakfast was amazing!

Madam Muna and Sir Lucien were so hospitable. Muna made us comfortable after a tiring day. She prepared a simple but exceptional breakfast. Had a short but meaningful conversation... Couldn't ask for more.

There was nothing we didn't like. The four stories and twisting staircases plus the small shared bathroom could be a problem for some guests.

Muna and Lucien were very welcoming and helpful, the range and quality of food at breakfast was excellent (a lot of home made preserves), there was a kitchen for guests' use and an attractive back garden. We enjoyed our stay in this interesting conveniently located traditional town house.

I prefer a private bathroom, but chose this location based on value / price which included a shared bathroom.

Muna and Lucien were very helpful from providing an umbrella for a rainy day to providing a breakfast to go for my train ride. The location was excellent the breakfast was excellent, the Bedding was excellent.

Nothing. It's all stairs, but that's part of the experience!

The hospitality was excellent. Muna and Lucien were fantastic hosts. Breakfast was plentiful and beautiful. The room was also excellent with a view of the castle. It's in the old town, so it's guaranteed you will have an awesome, genuine experience.

Nothing was out of place. I got used to the stairs very quickly!

The location was perfect. The hosts were so kind and helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was wonderful with all my needs taken care of. The hosts are such kind and generous people it was a pleasure to get to know them. I’m sure I’ll be back!
