Reviews of Cozy Place in Gstaad center

Fantastic location, extremely cosy, beautiful decor, comfy beds, great shower, very helpful host (responded to queries very fast). UK and other country TV channels available. Would definitely recommend booking for spring/summer/autumn hiking or winter skiing.

Nothing major but things to be aware of: - Microwave / oven is very high, difficult for short people - lots of foreign TV channels but takes ages scrolling through to find what you want (we were looking for the UK channels), would be helpful to have a print out of the 1st channel number for most popular countries to know what number to start scrolling from.

Everything was perfectly organized. Very clean and super comfortable. Location was great as walking distance to the center. The host was amazing as he helped to always answer any questions both related to his apartment and also about the town. All in all one of the best stays.

This apartment was PERFECT for me and my husband, and our daughter and son in law. We were in Gstaad for a black tie wedding. The closet space, hangers, iron and ironing board, and mirrors - that we might otherwise not have needed - came in very handy. The kitchen is small but perfectly appointed with nothing missing. We cooked breakfast here each morning. It is a beautifully decorated space with an amazing view and lovely outdoor balcony with lounge chairs and small tables. We appreciated the books about Gstaad and all the small details. Nick was the perfect host - responsive with good communication and easy instructions.

Location excellent. The apartment was large, beautifully furnished and with a lovely view of the mountains. Good and responsive host. Some negatives see below. Would I return? Yes.

The electrical equipment was overly complicated. We were never able to get the very fancy hob top functioning and we spent a frustrating half hour to get the elaborate microwave working. The T V did not work. Host Nick came over and determined that the remote needed new batteries. He replaced these and then managed to get just one English channel operational. Not ideal if you want to relax at day end with a few T V programmes. The bath was incredibly slippery, high and narrow. Get in at your peril. There is no purchase to lower or lift oneself out.

Everything was excellent!! Even better than in the pictures! the decoration and details in the apartment are magic- also the location of the is perfect!! it has all you need to spend some days in Gstaad. I’m looking forward to be back!

It is really a very cozy place and very roomy. Two good bedrooms, each whith its own bathroom (luxury!) and a lot of cupboard space. Fully equipped kitchen, we did not miss anything. Central but quiet location with a beautiful view. We even used the beautiful balcony and sat for a while in the sun (in November!) The information about how and where to park and how to get into the apartment was very good, we got in without trouble, even though it was already dark when we arrived. Great that we had our own parking place in a garage and that there is an elevator from the garage to the apartment.

It was extremely hot when we arrived. We had to open all the windows wide to get more comfortable. There are three sofa's in the sitting room, the dark one is good, but the two light ones are sagged and not very comfortable any more. The lamp above the table was all right, but the lamps in the sitting room and above the beds are not strong enough to read by (at least not for my old eyes).
