Arrived at 3pm but not able to check in till 4pm as no one was there. Had a wander around the town instead but left our bags at reception.

Friendly helpful manager. Delivered complimentary cake on arrival. Sweets and chocolates in the hallway. Swiss souvenir on departure. Lovely balcony with view of the mountain. Quality bedding, block out shutters. Breakfast available for good price but we left too early for it. Orsieres was very quiet.

Ideal location in the depth of the narrow streets made our stay very quiet. Nice view from a balcony of the room. Free municipal parking lot 100 m from the hotel. 5 min on foot distance to the railway station guarantees easy access to the hiking paradise of the Grand-St-Bernard area. The host deserves 12 points out of 10. We really felt welcome and supported. The room and the bathroom were basic but spacious and absolutely sufficient for a short holiday stay. Breakfast is served per person (not a buffet), - but again, absolutely sufficient, with fresh fruits and good quality fresh products. Unfortunately, the restaurant of the hotel serves only groups, but there is a plenty of good restaurants nearby. Also, the hotel's restaurant works as a bar so you can always get your coffee, beer, snacks - and a top-quality pizza which we really recommend. Overall, we think price/quality ratio was excellent.

This place was our starting point to hike the TMB, and was perfect. 5 minute walk to train/bus station. Center of this cute town. Breakfast was traditional European with fresh bread and local jams.

I was a little worried because I could not really find any info online about the hotel, but the place was great. It's older and basic, but sparkling clean and impeccably maintained. The owner was very helpful and kind. I would definitely stay here again.
