How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Hotel is amazing. This is nothing to do with hotel but if someone is completely depending on public transport then there are not much options available. Bus has hourly frequency.
Its really amazing experience while staying in this hotel. View from balcony is next level. Room size is great for family. Breakfast facility was good as well.

Travel to & from Interlaken, air supply in the room in summer (feels hot, not possible without fan)

The spiral stairs to the bedroom and bathroom
Great view and location, comfortable bed, clean quiet room, full of activities for family and children video games pool table mini golf etc, great spa swimmingpool ,, parking included, great breakfast with variety of cheese and cold cut meats, dinner options are great

The game room is a bit old but you could still have fun
Honestly everything, if you dont mind going on the bus for 30 minutes everyday to the city you going to enjoy yourself here, the staff are nice, the views are beautiful, the game room was fun and the pool is big and no one was in it so i enjoyed it with my family by ourselves. Highly recommended

It doesnt have air conditioning and nothing else besides portable fans. It is impossible to open the Windows during the night as there were too many mosquitoes. Hard to cool down the rooms
Gorgeous view of Lake Thun. great for hiking around niederhorn and the Beaten cave.

Only one criticism. relating to the lack of usb sockets in the bedroom and the non- standard continental electrical sockets available
Thank you for an enjoyable stay. A lovely hotel, clean and comfortable with helpful staff who always have a smile on their faces. To summarise, a great stay and would have no hesitation in recommending Dorint Bluemlisalp Beatenberg.

Lower floor need renovation. Water in the main pool was cold.
Nice views on the lake and the mountains. The duplex apartment was spacious and clean. Staff helpful and welcoming. The parking garage arrangement is convenient. Laundry service with decent price. The spa area and saunas was great addition.

Not a thing! We can’t wait to come back and try it in the snow!
The location is stunning, overlooking the lakes from up in the mountain. The facilities for families are superb - the pool, the kids playroom for young kids, the older room with fussball, ping pong, billiards etc will have everyone entertained. The spa and saunas for adults were a joy, and so quiet when we were there. Good for breakfast and in the stubil restaurant were perfect. Such a joyous stay!

Pool was cold and could have been a little warmer. The spa was textile free and coed🤦🏽♀️
Amazing location with spectacular views. Great facilities and great value for money. Hotel guest card allows you to take many buses for free and discounts on attractions too.

We went down to Interlaken everyday so the location was a little remote. For those who plan to hike/bike in the Beatenberg area more than Interlaken, Grindlewlad or hte lakes, etc..etc... it's ideal.
Amazing views from this hotel, views that would not be possible were it not for the elevated location. Breakfast was excellent! The room was comfortable and the service from staff, warm and informative. The hotel was cheaper than those located more centrally in Interlaken.

I found the room a bit outdated as design with low quality pillows and poor lighting. Also, for the price that we paid i didn't expect to have the kitchinette locked and offered for an extra fee. This is a basic for a family. So on the accommodation side, not the best.
We loved the location and thr food. Breakfast was very taaty and good quality. Service exceprional. Free transport offered by hotel, big thank you. Second best was the location with incredible views. We could sum up Switzerland landscape in one single view from the balcony. Absolutely beautiful.

The view of the lake is breathtaking and the town is quiet but still has good access to local attractions. The hotel was relaxing, quiet, and the restaurants/pool etc. were fun for the whole family.
