Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandThe only nuisance was that the room (facing the hill slope behind hotel) was out of mobile phone reception area, completely. Only WIFI calling via the hotel WIFI network was possible. Usually, Les Collons has a very good mobile 5G coverage. The rooms facing the valley, the restaurant areas are free from such nuisance, the mobile 5G coverage is excellent.
The property is brand new and well maintained.

GreeceNormally I love this place. I’ve been before and it’s genuinely nice. However, this time the room was strongly smelling like cigarette. Upon complaining, someone went in to spray so that the smell goes away. It still didn’t and it’s only then that we’ve been offered another room. For a place that costs as much as it does and that’s positioned as a bit more premium than avg hotel, that shouldn’t have been the case.
Beautiful hotel, amazing common areas (terrace, lobby, restaurant) & spa. Close proximity also to Les Collons ski resort which I adore. Decent breakfast too.

SingaporeIf I have to point out something.. just one staff (with straight hair, skinny lady) at the Spa reception was not very friendly. She didn't smile and I felt she was slightly rude.
The spa facility was amazing and such a good surprise! I think they should show the photos or videos of the outdoor pool, sauna etc. There was not much info on the amazing spa on their website or the booking.com site so didn't know about it. The warm outdoor pool with the Alps mountain view, indoor pool, several different kinds of sauna, the casual cafe next to the pool etc. It was so worth the entrance fee. The beakfast buffet was good quality as well. The lounge area next to the reception was very cozy as well. I felt very refreshed and re-charged. Thank you! The reception staff and also the pool cafe's staff were both very smiley and helpful. Very pleasant experience. Spa reception staff (most of them), the lounge staff were the same way as well.

ItalyStaff very friendly but poorly trained especially restaurants, restaurants menu (especially Stubli with only one fondue !!!!!when the village bar proposes 9 diverse fondues !!!), room cleaning daily service very poor. Spa access at a crazy 40 CHF/client. Should be half and included in room price. Apparently the new owner doesn’t know anything about hospitality. I’ve myself the 9 highest ranked luxury hotels in the world and I just don’t understand the owner level of knowledge about luxury clients.
Location, combination hôtel and baths, direct access to ski slopes, modern, great interior design

United KingdomThe SPA is public, likely shared with the neighboring SwissPeak resort + broader public. We were expecting a more exclusive experience and ended up sharing any sauna session with ~5-9 people; pools were completely overcrowded. Nothing like what is showcased on the website or social media
Fanstastic location, view from the room was breathtaking and getting to the slopes couldn’t be easier; beautiful facilities in the Eringer premises. Amazing service at the restaurant with friendly staff

SwitzerlandThere was no option for veg dinner in the location which was quiet disheartening, though the staff tried to book us at another restaurant at another location, it did not served our purpose. After driving for almost the day, we were not in a condition to go somewhere else for dinner. In spite of such good location and facility, not even a pizza was available which was a real shame. We literally had to sleep starving. Also there were no hot water kettle in the room and we had to ask for the same. Any basic hotel nowadays provide you with a hot water kettle.
The breakfast was ok

Breakfast was great however more variety of bread would be appreciated. The location of the hotel on the slopes is great. The spa is well built, lots of different things to discover - and what a view!

United StatesMattress was uncomfortable and there was only one pillow per guest. The room was not cleaned by the cleaning service after the first night. Lift/elevator was not operational, given this, it was surprising that we were given a top floor with no view even though it was requested and agreed to through bookings.com. After showing proof of this to the reception, they were kind enough to change our room to one with a view (4th floor), but they were somewhat unwilling (even though it was obvious that the hotel was essentially empty).
Breakfast and breakfast staff were lovely. Location offered an amazing view and it was close to a nice spa.

SwitzerlandThe SPA was really good and big, with beautiful views on the mountains. But it is a public structure, so it was really crowded in the evening. Also the village itself was quite small and doesn’t really have many restaurants choices for dinner.
We enjoyed our family vacation at Eriger. Beautiful and modern hotel with direct connection to the ski slopes. Good breakfast with gluten free options. Dinner was also really good.

SpainThe hotel is truly phenomenal, but having worked in a 5-star hotel, I noticed a few areas that could be improved to make it even more spectacular! Parking Garage: The parking situation needs better management. Visitors from Le Grand Bains were using the hotel’s designated spaces, and without control—such as a valet service—this can be frustrating. On our first day, we couldn’t park in the garage, which is unacceptable for a luxury hotel. Room Amenities: Swapping the in-room pencil for a pen would add a touch of elegance. Spa Experience: The spa was far too crowded. We expected a peaceful retreat, assuming it was exclusive to hotel guests. Perhaps implementing a reservation system or designated hotel-only hours could enhance the experience. Check-Out Process: There should be an option to charge the credit card on file for a smoother departure. Payment Flexibility: Le Grand Bains didn’t accept Euros, and the front desk couldn’t provide change or charge it to the room. This meant we had to return to our room for a credit card—an unnecessary inconvenience. Dining Experience: Dinner: While the food was excellent, the menu felt quite limited, especially for guests dining there every night. Breakfast: A fantastic spread, but adding more hot options—like porridge, smoked salmon (to pair with the blinis), or avocado toast—would elevate it further. Despite these points, our stay was wonderful, and we would still highly recommend the hotel!
This hotel is a true hidden gem in the Alps! Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the entire hotel exudes a warm and cozy atmosphere. The lobby bar offered an impressive cocktail selection, and the live DJ created an amazing ambiance, making every evening unforgettable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring a seamless experience. The restaurant was outstanding, with top-quality food that exceeded our expectations. One of the highlights was the spa, featuring a stunning outdoor pool and relaxing saunas—perfect after a day on the slopes. We highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return!

BelgiumAll the rest: even though the staff wants to surpass itself, the service is extremely poor. The breakfast is good, yet far below what to expect in CH and from a 4 *. The food (diner) is poor to bad: Eringer struggles to keep / find a decent cook. The outside bar on the terrace is closed, however wonderfull the view => no staff had we been told. At reception, no service, "no se" poor staff wanting to help but knowing nothing?! The bath / spa are wonderfull, yet as a guest you swim among 100's of people from the whole valley making your experience the worst you can nightmare of. In summary: there is absolutely no manager around, and the boat is just sinking!!!
Eringer is surely made with great care and materials. The location is great in Les Collons.

SwitzerlandUnfriendly and unhelpful receptionist. Restaurant that we booked for was closed, and they did only let us know on arrival. We had a 1000chf gift voucher, which they did not accept for payment. They did not reply to our e-mails afterwards. A trip that we were very much looking for turned very sour.

SwitzerlandThe Eringer hotel is modern and superbly decorated in the chalet theme. Amazing views and good location for skiing, ski touring, hiking etc. Beds are large and comfortable. The restaurant is excellent with an open kitchen to view the chefs preparing the delicious food. Hotel guests are offered complementary entrance to a devine wellness with choice of sauna according to temperature preference, many thermal baths and relaxing areas. Best part is the staff who took care to give personalized service, advice and kindness. We often look for cheaper accommodation but Eringer Hotel has so much to offer it was, in fact, good value for money.
