Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandThe room was basic, the bathroom was extremely small. The hotel had little sound insulation and we were frequently woken by guest arriving late and then leaving early
It was clean and well located

AustraliaThere is no drain in the bathroom, so overflow from the shower runs straight into the room. Needed to place a towel down to prevent it. There are no regular room services which was fine, but should keep in mind. The place is close to the promenade but it is a fair way up a steep hill, so people with mobility issues might struggle, especially if it is slippery/icy.
It's a great location and cheap for the location. Self check-in and checkout is convenient and the coffee ecke area was nice and well stocked. Rooms were decent size and the view was amazing. There is a supermarket just down the hill on the promenade, can easily get to and from the conference centre or pop on the bus to any other locations.

AustraliaThe bed was terrible. Worse than a hostel. "Breakfast" was a bunch of 4 day old cereals and muffins... Wasn't impressed by the general atmosphere of this place. Creepy haunted house on the hill.
Beautiful area. Although up the hill from town, it was still central to the area to an extent. Buses run regularly into town. Decent bathroom facilities, although separate to the rooms. There was also a kitchen downstairs.

SwitzerlandWe asked for a parking place and apparently everything was fine. We arrived and we didn't had any parking! We had to park in Davos village!!! The guy was rude and didn't even listened to us, the only thing he said was: "yes, but I don't have a parking"! He only spoke English and he didn't care about the clients. If you go there, be ready to pay, don't ask for anything and just leave!! Well-being of clients is not considered.
The hotel was really basic but good located.

GermanyThe charge 20 CHF Extra for a parking place. Pretty expensive for a very small room with 2 single and diffrent beds. The elevator was broken and we had to ,,climb" to the 6 floor under the roof with our luggage. The good thing: The electrician came the next day. Free hot tea and some cookies in the lobby all day long and with the costs they cover free stays for ill children in the summer month.

ItalyWanted to book a parking place but they told us only at the arrival, when we arrived there was noone at the reception..rooms were scaring, through the tiny walls you can hear the people from the other rooms talking, was looking more like a mental hospital than a hotel. If you want just a bed where to try to sleep and a warm room it's ok but do not expect more
Hard to find something positive, only good point is that was close to Davos center

GermanyAs the old jewish tuberculosis "Heilstätte Etania", this is an enticing and very calm place to stay at, with forest hikes right out of the door and decent connection to the ski busses as well. The kitchen is fully equipped as in any hostel making saving money by cooking yourself an easy task, including free cake, coffee and tea all day. The breakfast is basic but still features a large variety of Kelloggs products and oats, and the eating room is a lovely 1900 dining room with a beautiful view over Davos. Restrooms appear newly renovated, the rooms are simple but serve all basic needs.

SwitzerlandBad service, no proper parking although they make us pay for it, bad hygiene standard in bedroom and bathroom, bad smell in all house and bedroom, lack of charm in furniture/ decoration/ all house, terribly dirty and smelly carpet on third floor (see picture).
Wonderful location and view. Historic house with great potential if renovated.

SwitzerlandTried to call ahead regarding our late check-in, but was impossible to reach someone (Friday at 4PM). In the end it was fine since it was a keybox anyways, but could be an issue in other cases. During the entire stay we did not see a single staff member, did not matter too us but might be creepy for other guests.
Check-in with keybox was a blessing, since we ended up arriving 3am. Had a room with a shared bathroom, shared bathroom was clean and we did not have to wait. Beautiful view from the room. Great location (for us).

Germany- As everybody said, if you come by car you pay a hefty extra. - If you do not come by car, the hotel is at the top of the hill. Bearable in snowboard boots, impossible with ski boots. - Run-down, the room was painted with white paint over everything - over switches, power sockets. Still holes in everything, in the door, wall, furniture. Best part - there was a full kitchen in the room which was bolted shut with a big piece of plywood. - Non-existing soundproofing and guests who do like to be VERY noisy, not only at 23-00, but at 2-00 and even 4-00. And +15 Db for loud guests speaking German. - The entrance to ski-room from the outside was blocked by a big van, a bit difficult to come around it. - Looks like it's a suitable place for Jewish Mikveh.
- Cheap, for Davos - Located just at the end of the valley run/bobsled route from Schatzalp (Strela), albeit it's the smallest ski area in Davos and not covered by a ski pass, it's worth checking on a slow day. - Self check-in and check-out. - Common kitchen and dining area, you can cook and there's a lot of things available included in the price already - milk, flakes, some sweets and cakes. - Looks like it's a suitable place for Jewish Mikveh.
