We chose this specific hotel because it has a pool. Unfortunately the air in the pol area was freezing and the water of the pool was cold. We traveled with 2 small children who wanted to swim (2 and 4 years old) their lips were blue and they were shivering after 10 minutes. We complained about it at the reception and nothing was done. I had specifically mentioned that we are coming for the pool in an email prior to our arrival. Too bad.

Is in the middle of a renovation so pool and sauna are closed while breakfast room is hidden behind a labyrinth of rooms and hallways. Will be nice when it is done and the staff were quite accommodating.

We stayed in a room for four people with two chairs and they were not very comfortable to sleep (at least not for a tall person).

For some reason housekeeping did not maintain the room clean enough - floor and balcony were always dusty. The biggest problem was the hotel location if you ski/snowboard. Logistics to the slopes takes a lot of time and effort. Also I found car parking quite expensive at CHF20 per day. Considering how much you pay for the hotel it should be part of the package. Hotel does NOT offer any ski pass discount too. All that moves you bottom line quite high for the value you receive. Honestly if I ever go back to Davos for skiing I'd consider another place.

Hotel is charming old building, but well renovated. The Junior Apartment was ok. People are very helpful. Scala restaurant offers very good menu.

Scala closed for renovation but I guess this has to happen during off season, understandable, looking forward to see the new Scala. an elevator all the way to floor 4 would have been a bonus especially during check in and check out with luggage

all employees very friendly, room set up a bit vague, tablet in 434 missing, reported it several times, nothing happened, room housekeeping very habhazard, sometimes bathrooms cleaned, other days not, garbage from previous guest still in the garbage can upon check in in 436.

Excellent location right in the center of town with bus stop for cable cars right outside the hotel. Hotel also has temporary parking right outside and overnight parking around the corner. staff were very friendly and professional.

Lift didn't go to the top floor so had to carry heavy case up final stairway. We weren't told this when checking in.

The room was huge with a balcony overlooking the town and mountains. Massive bathroom. Davos pass included. Breakfast included in price. Short walk to station. Great views. Funicular railway very close. Dressing gown and slippers for spa in room.

We had 2 rooms booked. Our kids in one and that one had problems : no heat, the fridge was broke, room service function (some sort of ipad) did not work, and wifi not stable. Still the hotel charged full price, but promised to have manager send me email regarding this, no email yet. Our room was fine, but wifi really bad.

The elevator with the couches in it. The vibe is very nice. The breakfast with the made to order omelette. Room was excellent. Bus stop right in front.
