good size room confortable bed newly refurbished bathroom, nice good location friendly staff

very old fashioned furniture, but everything in good shape and clean carpet on the floor

Christian was the crown jewel of this place. He is a thoughtful, considerate and hospitable host who needs to be cloned and spread across the globe! He went out of his way to make his guests feel welcomed. Whatever he didnt have, he would volunteer to get. And bonus for all guests wishing to explore the area: ask him for the Oskar card! It saved me tons of money!

Convenient location (the historical centre is just a short walk away), active and helpful staff, trouble-free parking, good breakfasts.

It is extremely well located in St Gallen, very clean, welcoming staff .

My room was on the main street and therefore a but noisy .

Christian, the owner, was very welcoming. The hotel is well situated with good bus connections to the town centre. Clean, bright and spacious room. Delicious breakfast.

On busy main road with noisy traffic. Air-conditioning would be a plus.

It was just what we need in walking distance to centre and trains with trams running past the hotel The guy in the reception was so helpful

My wife was in the nearby hospital after a bicycle accident and the hotel manager was so helpful & friendly and provided a great room with option to extend for as long as needed.

Great location for our purposes. Lovely breakfast and large, quiet room at the back of the hotel.

The proprietor was very helpful and very personable! I was pleasantly surprised to find wash cloths - a luxury in European hotels in my experience. Private parking. Close distance to attractions (walking). Large room. Excellent shower. Good supply of hooks in the bathroom for hanging things. Breakfast was complete and good if not exceptional. Calm inside the hotel.

Not enough electrical outlets in the room. Some hot egg and hot meat options for the morning breakfast would have been a nice touch. The breakfast was definitely complete and good, but not exceptional. I would have liked a greater assortment of pillows. Mine was much softer/thinner than I prefer and I've been in hotels where there was more choice or perhaps extra ones to boost one's neck, etc. Street traffic noise was a bit much even with all the windows shut and curtains drawn. We were in the 2nd floor of rooms (not counting the ground floor). I believe there might have been rooms not overlooking the street - not sure.
