VERY small room with bed against wall. Also, before our stay, I received many spam messages which were concerning ("Your reservation is at risk of cancellation!") and never addressed afterwards.

Location was close to the station and Castelgrande. View from room of castle was lovely. Terrace with its bigger view was also very lovely. Breakfast was good, decent amount of choice and I enjoyed the breakfast room very much. (Pics attached are view from room & breakfast room)

Noisy the train station, if you try to sleep with windows open. Bike storage in sub-sub basement - you have to carry the bike via the stairs.

Being a budget hotel other tenants were also loud and noisy kids that were neighboring our room. The breakfast was served 2 floors underground and wasn't easy to locate at first

Simple/light breakfast included and the room was very clean. But the major advantage was its location: very close to the train station and very central.

It was a cold night and doona was small on our bed so we froze. This place is tidy clean and no frills.

It was so close to the train stations d an easy walk to the old town and castles when we arrived. Breakfast was adequate and fresh.

Minimal furniture in the room. We had to take a table and a chair from our outside patio to put our suitcase on. Asked for extra pillows and blanket.

Breakfast, location, working staff was friendly, courtesy and all were hard working. Now the front desk person had no personality, abrupt, and had skeleton hours. The pizza parlor next door as another highlight. The owner, Pablo was able to call the property after hours for us for entry. I didn’t receive the hotels email messsge due to area of reception here in Switzerland. He also allowed us to charge our phones as the electrical plugs were not usually Europeans outlets. Also great pizza and service.

The only downfall was that our room was right near the train station and there was a lot of train noise and some construction happening during the day time hours but you just drown it out like the city noise. Not really a hotel downfall.

We booked this hotel last minute as we decided to head south and were pleased with the stay. It was easy to find via driving our car and it was nice to have a free parking spot in the back of the hotel. The room had high ceilings and a balcony which allowed us to see views of the castles. The location was good for walking around downtown. We had the best gelato right down the street at Gelateria Veneta. The night sky view was incredible with our large window/doors. The breakfast the next morning was good too with meats, cheeses, yougurts, breads, etc.

Very bad smell in the bathroom. Linen and towels not so clean. Bad insonorisation, there was a lot of noise coming from the hallway.
