Minor complaints: Expensive, awkward shower with slanted wall require bath or bending over. Extra charges if you need towels.

Amazing view from our balcony and fantastic location near train station. Great breakfast buffet.

The shared fridge is a bit uncomfortable.

Nice quiet location with excellent public transport connection to Interlaken. Hiking trails are starting literally front of the door, but most of the major locations are within an hour reach. Good breakfast, clean rooms.

It was very hot for August, no fan and no aircon made it very difficult to get a good nights sleep.

The breakfast was great and if you had an early morning planned the packed breakfast you could ask for was very generous and delicious! The location was amazing.

No AC, other guests were outside our window all night smoking which was blowing into our room but it was too hot to close the window. There was also a walkway outside our window with a motion sensor that turned a bright light on that shined right into our room.

It was really loud because our too was close to the church and during night, of course, the bells interrupted the sleep ( so d not take a room on the of side )

Not the property itself, but the room we got. Since we booked last minute, we got the last room and it didn’t come with a view.

The location is beautiful! Like it’s been taken off the page of a fairytale book. I’m not much of a writer and I don’t think my description gives it much justice.

Hotel is well located 5 min distance from Interlake, at river front and beautiful place. breakfast was also really good. We were in group , two room had really good size and well equipped, one room was relatively small. we really enjoyed stay.

No A/C and therefore extremely hot on upper floor. Also, right next to old church and bell tower rang every hour plus 15 min intervals making it very noisy to sleep.

Great location near train station and hiking/cycling route. Beautiful old hotel. Good breakfast!

Wilderswil is small with few dining choices, but excellent for train connections.

The plugs were in slightly inconvenient places and we had to buy new adaptors - luckily the store nearby had some! Our room was right by the river which you could still hear with the windows shut but we didn't mind! (might be annoying for light sleepers)

The location was perfect, so easy and convenient for day trips to Interlaken, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen - and much quieter and cosy than Interlaken. Breakfast was well stocked and delicious every morning! We expected to be greeted on the first day, but to check in and check out, we picked up a key in an envelope at the front desk and dropped it off in the same place. We weren't sure if we ever saw the host, but the staff we did encounter were very friendly. No problems with the facilities, and there was a communal fridge which was handy for packed lunches/groceries.

The distance from Interlaken is not within walking distance. However, you can travel by bus or train for free, which was very nice.

The property, being historic, you expect to be dated. But it was very clean and in good condition. The rooms are small, but again, it is a historic hotel. The owners are friendly, the breakfast provided was nice. It is a short walk to the bus/train station which was very convenient. Lovely little town.
