Minor suggestions for improvement: 1. It would have been nice to have a kettle and a small fridge in both rooms, not just in the larger one. 2. I also missed having a casual outdoor seating area that wasn’t part of the restaurant or café—just a simple spot to sit and relax outside, especially since the rooms didn’t have balconies.

We stayed at this guesthouse for one night in two rooms, with the goal of reaching Zurich Airport easily the next morning. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. The town where the guesthouse is located—and the surrounding area—is very beautiful. I regretted not arriving earlier to explore more. Another great convenience was the small supermarket just a few meters away, where we were able to buy food easily. Overall, it was a short but very enjoyable stay, and I would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a peaceful stopover near Zurich or the Rhine Falls.

Due to rush hour traffic and the distance from the airport were a concern but we just added the additional time suggested by the host, and all went well.

The Host and Hostest were extremely helpful. The food in the attached restaurant was ready good. The pillows were great.

Everything was perfect for our one night in Rafz!

The staff was sooo lovely and kind, and also very accommodating. We were there for a wedding in town and they were very helpful at check in so we could get ready in the hotel room beforehand. The biggest highlight was definitely the kindness of the staff service. The room itself was very cozy, modern, seemed newly renovated with a nice little bathroom - it had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable, which was great after a long night of dancing. Breakfast was also tasty, not a buffet but everything was served to the table. The parking on property was practical as well. The reception is at the bar, which we didn't have time to explore, but also looked like it had a good vibe.

No fridge in the room. However there is really no place in room for it. If you absolutely need to chill your Cremant, hosts will share their fridge I suppose:) They are really friendly!

Ideal accomodation for car travellers, located in remote and quiet area. Great value for money! No chance to find similar in Zürich, it's more expensive there. 30-40 min from Zürich center, 10 min from Rheinfall. Seems to be family hotel rebuilt from old private house. Obviously with no 24h counter. However lady on reception waited for our arrival that was around midnight! You can warn about late arrival by phone, Room is not large but very well designed. Towels, shower gel are available. Very comfortable bed! Adaptor for unique (but idevices compatible) Swiss power outlet availble on reception. Euro are accepted.

In a nice little village close to the Rheinfall. It also has a nice restaurant. Quite pricy, but Switzerland is expensive (the prices on the menu were the first prices we saw in Switzerland :-). )

The room, although exactly as described and shown in the photos. The sloped ceiling was too low and claustrophobic, there was no Aircon and despite a thunderstorm the room was very sticky. I must stress, this is more my expectations, as said the room was exactly as described.

The staff, particularly Claudia, were excellent. Claudia spoke excellent English and was very friendly, chatty and informative she couldn't have done more and deserves praise.

The property was shut when I arrived, and no instructions for how to get in. I did find the key at a rear door but had almost given up by this point!

A really lovely room in a nice property. Choosing to stay a little further out from Zurich was much more affordable and gave me a chance to see this deligtful town.
