Our stay in Camedo far exceeded our expectations. Wonderful warm hosts, good food and some lovely walks. We had a lovely evening with interesting talks and live music and excellent grappa.

I was hiking towards Italy, and the property was close to the path. The room was clean, the people running the place are charming and the food was fabulous. The facilities are simple, but everything works exactly as it should and I quite liked the rustic style. Wonderful terrasse where I enjoyed a drink upon arrival and dinner in the evening.

That being said, the property IS right by the main road and it can be a noisy. Nothing to be done about it. My only tiny complaint is about breakfast being a bit at the limit of the acceptable given the price. I don't object to the self-service concept (which has the advantage of letting me eat as early as I want), but there wasn't that much to chose from (especially considering I was about to hike 17 km) and the separate room where it's served is a bit sad. I fixed that part by taking my food out to the terrasse.

Very authentic, beautiful place if you're travelling by car. Very good service, beautiful room and good food.

It's a bit pricey, but it's Switzerland.

Charming and simple, in a beautiful spot. Very quiet between about 2300 and 0900hrs

In the first floor bedrooms you can hear every sound from downstairs. Luckily everyone goes to bed early there.

Friendly staff and great meal at restaurant

The staff was amazing, greeting you in the morning and welcoming after a day trip. Food from the chef was delicious and from local ingredients or outright homemade including a taste of amarro. :) We were going on trips during the day and always perfectly recharched in Osteria Grütli in the evening. Higher altitude was perfect for good night sleep.

The staff was very kind, the location is in the country side with pretty landscapes surrounded by forest , the dinner was really good, the breakfast was terrible.

The breakfast wasn’t good and that the room window is near the road.

I was spending one night over my birthday and it was truly amazing. From the cozy room with little balcony, bathroom with selling window, welcome focaccia to the plant milk for vegan cappuccino, alcohol free Prosecco (which I haven’t even ordered), the absolutely delicious dinner, lovely little dessert as surprise and healthy breakfast, I truly felt spoiled and very well cared for. The surroundings of course are beautiful, a little animal farm for kids nearby, the water, Mountain View, some hiking paths… Can just highly recommend everybody to experience this amazing place.

During weekend there are motorbikes driving on the main road during the day, which can be loud sometimes, but that’s just the way it is and didn’t affect my stay much.

As we were getting a train at 8.20 am full breakfast facilities were not available but we were kindly provided with a self service breakfast - fine for our needs. They cater for special dietary needs. Rooms very tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds. Also nice to have a balcony for 2 of our rooms (enjoyed watching the bats flying in the evening too) . Very friendly welcoming owners/staff. Good location with view & situated on the Centovallie train route. Great evening meal with local produce outdoors across the road under grapevines. Interesting walk through the old historic Camedo village. Owners assisted us getting new booking with Booking.com when we had to come 1 day later.

Others might appreciate earlier breakfast service? Tea/coffee maker in room?

Wonderful location in the Centovalli. Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. We had supper and breakfast. Both were delicious.

Rooms face the road which although relatively quiet at night does mean you may hear passing traffic.

What makes this place is the team. Young, enthusiastic, generous, kind, engaged, and very postiive and joyful. They went out of their way to accomodate every wish. We wanted to take a 2-3 hour hike so Paco got out a map and then walked us to the trailhead. The dinner was excellent, fresh and tasty. Very lovely wine choice made by Paco for us. His partner Valeria welcomed us with warmth and lively conversation as did the cook's girlfriend the next morning. The view is magnificent. This place is for nature lovers and people seeking peace, quiet, and joy.

The service at dinner seemd slightly disorganized as to whether we had seen the menu yet or were ready to order food, but that is a kink that they'll resolve.
