The apartment was ideally located. We really enjoyed staying there, and the neighborhood. The apartment was clean, comfortable and our host Valerie was available and very helpful. If we come back to Bern we would stay there again!

Noisy neighborhood

Very comfortable stay in the heart of Bern. In the center of all the going out. Which was wonderful. But also quite noisy. We closed the windows for the night so we could sleep quietly . The apartment had everything we needed. Plus laundry in the basement

A cosy apartment which is well equipped. The coffee pods were much appreciated. Lovely comfy bed and a great shower. It is on a lively street with lots of bars and restaurants but quietens down early. Very central. Valerie is an excellent host. Would highly recommend

Lovely cosy atmosphere in the heart of the city. Short walk to the station and main attractions.

Everything was great! Perhaps the access which is located in a small inner-cut of the facade between to buildings but it isn't really a problem once you find it!

Definitely a place worth staying! A mono-ambient flat with a bed, kitchen, coffee machine, fridge, washing machine in the cellar, etc. located 2 minutes away from the Old-town clock (tourist attraction) and right in the center of the whole city. Bus service to the center and train station is a 3-minute walk from the apartment. It was clean, warm (we went during winter) and the host was very kind not only guiding us through the use of the apartment itself but she also gave us tickets to the bus station for free as added gift! We had to extend our stay one more night and the process was as easy as sending her a message! I will book this one again if we visit Bern next year!

No issues for us, but note apartment is on second floor with no elevator, if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage.

Excellent location truly in ‘heart of Bern’! Valerie was very easy to communicate with, very responsive in lead up to and during stay. Studio apartment thoughtfully supplied with bathroom and kitchen essentials - very handy spices and oil for cooking in the apartment. Clean and comfortable stay.

This is the second time we have stayed here in 5 years. As before, the room was clean and easy to use. Valerie was sincere in her response to the malfunction of the vacuum cleaner.

The church bells woke me up on the first day. The second day, we closed the windows, and the problem was solved: the apartment was well-insulated from noise.

The location is excellent, especially for those who enjoy bars and nightlife. The kitchen is well-equipped for those who need/want to prepare meals. It is also close to the train station. We enjoyed our stay.

After mountain tour we were tired and not in ‘pub’ mood every day. With closed window the flat was not noisy (on the street there was big life late night especially because of UEFA EURO 2024), but without fan / climate it was hot.

Accessing of the apartment was very easy. 15 mins walk from train station and we easily found the key from lock box. Property located in a street full with pub and restaurants. It has a very good mood.

A little noisy but that’s to be expected as we were on the first floor and there were earplugs provided so we slept very well nevertheless.

Only few pictures on the walls of the mini apartment, it looks a little bare. A very negative mark to the Zentrum Paul Klee. Renzo Piano planned this marvellous building, which contains thousands of paintings by one of my favourite artists, but the majority are not on show, only an extremely limited selection. Don't go!

Exactly what was needed by us. The central position made it possible for us to visit the town in comfort, reach the restaurants nearby, of which there is ample choice. Also, we appreciated the kitchenette and the possibility of enjoying our breakfast in full relax

Nothing to complain about. Maybe just as a suggestion, I would recommend the host to have a Schuko plug adapter in the room.

Everything was great, the kitchen was complete and had spices as well so that we didn't have to buy them. Especially in Switzerland this has saved us some money! The place is perfectly located right in the centre and the evenings were always pretty quiet. Don't know if it's a feature of every B&B in Bern but we got a Bern Ticket for our entire stay that allowed us to move freely around the city using public transports :)
