The hotel is well out of the way from the centre. 45 minutes out. But you can catch a train from the airport or Zurich HB to Meilen and catch a bus or walk to the hotel. It's 2 bus stops to the hotel and the bus drops you 1 building away from the hotel. It cost us 10 Swiss francs per person for a one-way journey, so it's worth getting the DAY card.. 9AM CARD I THINK.. from the airport or Zurich 24 hour card if you plan to go on boats n travel back n forth to city centre. The boat stop is in Meilen, where the train drops you. We were on the 3rd floor, so it was very tiring to go up n down. No lift. The gentleman did offer to take our bags, but we didn't want to trouble him, but it was a bit of a bother in the end. The location is out of the way and you have to go to Meilen for restaurants n shops. It's a 15-minute walk. The hotel restaurant and the restaurant opposite the hotel were both closed.

The hotel is ideally located on the lake with beautiful views. We stayed in the 3 bed room with the sofa converted to 3rd bed in the attic with lake views. Ideally, it is suited for 2 people with the use of a sofa as you have to bend a lot to get around with the sofa converted to bed. It's a little bit tight for 3 people. The room had a coffee machine, water, and apples. We stayed during the heatwave, and one big fan was provided, which wasn't really enough for 3 of us. The bathroom is rather small but clean. The breakfast was amazing, with lake views from the dining areas. You could eat outside under the grapevines or the main dining area with lake views. Tea, coffee, cappuccino, lattes, available. Excellent choice of breakfast for a 2 star hotel with a good variety of breads, cereals, croissants, yougarts, cheeses, juices, etc. The hospitality was good, though the lady serving tea, coffee was also covering the reception area so was super busy. I felt a bit sorry for her, but she worked like a trooper with a smile on her face throughout. It was EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY.

One big minus was that the bathroom was a bit cramped, the water flowed very slowly. Another was that there were very few parking spaces. However, it is also possible to park your car in the municipal parking lot.

It is a very nice, cozy hotel, on the lakeside, with a beautiful view from the window. The staff is friendly. The environment is ideal. It is a beautiful Swiss hotel, on the shores of Lake Zurich. Very comfortable and lovely.

Hot water took a long time to get warm. No usb or usbc chargers so make sure to bring adaptors if not local.

Perfect location right on the water. Cute rooms. Provided a fan in hot weather without asking. Dinner and breakfast were good with drinks made by a barista.

No A/C and very old standard in the room. Old and dirty carpet and there was black mould in the bathroom. Molton Brown soap dispensers that looked like they had been used for many years and just refilled and refilled. Was supposed to be green soap in one dispenser but it was different layers of green, blue and orange, quite nasty.

Super nice location right on the water with really friendly staff. Restaurant had very good food and it was easy to park. Could just go for a swim outside the hotel and that was beautiful.

Room too hot throughhout both nights with no way to individually regulate the temperature. Worse, one alarm started in the corridor during the first night around 1 am and lasted more than 1 hour before it was stopped seriously interrupting our rest. Nobody was on site to do anything about it for too long.

Great location on the lake and close to town. Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant. Newly refurbished rooms with good confort level.

Wifi connection was terminated at 11:00 when vacating the room. It would have been useful to have it for a couple of hours afterwards whilst relaxing on the terrace. Cost of local taxi, booked by the hotel, back to the airport cost £169 which I thought was too expensive!!

I noticed one of the towels were dirty,I didn’t mind because we had plenty to use but please be more careful.

The view was so incredible even on a not so sunny winter day. It was so peaceful and it has a nostalgic vibe that really makes this a place I will like to come by again in the future. Can’t wait to visit on a summer or snowy day.

This hotel had welcoming staff and a beautiful ambiance, well worth the trip out of Zurich if you need to visit. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the breakfast was delicious ,especially the variety of super fresh bread.

The Property has NO ELEVATOR. It is really hard to bring your suite case up on your room with no help at all. The lady that was on duty the morning of our first night, was kinda rude not to us but to others and we understand because she was alone and doing all this things just by herself but it really annoying to feel the irritated vibes from her while we are having breakfast.

I like the breakfast area overlooking the lake, the breakfast spread is great compared to other hotels I stayed in Switzerland.
