Breakfast was delicious. My husband and two teens booked a room of four to have for ourselves and it worked out great. The area was convenient to access the activities we wanted to do and it seemed less touristy than other areas of Switzerland that we have visited.

For such an affordatble price I would complain nothing about it!

Very much clean and comfortable with all necessary facilities you would ever need. Good location to bus transport and town center. And they have a fine bar&restaurant at the ground floor - a good place to recharge yourself after one-day expedition on the mountains. Absolutely one of the best hostels I've ever stayed!

They are working on this, but the showers had mold; there was a ventilation problem in that area that they are trying to fix. So hopefully that problem will be gone!

The location was amazing - one minute from the nearest bus stop. Gorgeous surroundings - comfortable rooms with lockers for each guest. Friendly and helpful staff. Washer and dryer on site.

Easy to go after hiking in Rigi

Good place - close to some activities around. It was hostel but we had comfort room - it means with wc and shower in the room. The bathroom was very narrow and not so many space in the room. The beds were good. It was clean. The kitchen - you have to share with others, but it was clean, with necessary tools to prepare meal, everything is Ok. Free parking. Communication with the place was good.

There was noise from people outside on the street chatting throughout the night. However, we were so tired from hiking that it did not disturb much for one night.

The fresh and rich breakfast and the friendly staff who took time to explain and engage with us was outstanding and we would def come back for this. We also enjoyed that all guests were quiet and respectful.

No lift, I had a knee injury and I had to carry my luggage up the stairs. But the property was accommodating to give me the lowest floor available. There's a stale, musty smell throughout the property which is very unpleasant - my roommates and I went around opening the windows in our room and corridor and the smell improved significantly. I felt like the property could make more of an effort to air out the space.

Nothing related to the property but my roommate stole my detergent 🤦🏻‍♀️. They rather be called a thief than spending 50 cents for a bag of detergent at the reception 🤦🏻‍♀️

I like the location, just less than 5 minutes away from the nearest station Sönnenplätzli. There are bars and restaurants around the corner and even at the hostel itself. Groceries are also 10 minutes away. The place is clean and have everything you need including kitchen, washing machine, lockers, etc. The gentleman at check in was professional and he even remembered me and checked how was my hike at Stoos and the stay. I'm so sorry I didn't get his name. But he's a really nice guy.

Contact via phone or chat on Booking.com doesn’t seem to work at all. It would have been nice to talk to someone before arriving at night just to be sure that check-in would still be possible.

Booked a room for 1 night last-minute to shelter from a rain storm. Late night check-in went very smoothly and hassle-free. Pub is really nice and had good atmosphere. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. The Kitchen that guests can use has all the basic tools you need to prepare for the next trip. Prices are very reasonable, if you’re used to Swiss standards.

The room smells like someone has been smoking in it. My nose is very sensitive.

Location is good for me, very close to the hospital where my husband stayed. There was a welcome drink, so generous! The staff were nice and helpful, and I was lucky that I was the only one in my room!

Good location for skiing in Mythenregion. It's possible to reach the Rotenfluebahn cable card by either a 5 min. bus ride, or even by foot. The accommodation is basic but everything is clean and kept in good order.

Only one toilet and shower for the whole floor (and right next to each other, so there is no privacy). Also rooms were very small (which seems to be typical of Swiss hostels) with a lack of storage space. Luckily it was November and I had the room to myself and only had to share the bathroom with one or two other people.

Staff were lovely and the welcome drink was a nice touch.

Breakfast missed the mark for me. No vegetable options at all. For the price they are asking we were expecting a bit more options. Overall, I think the accommodation and breakfast price is a bit high for what they offer.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a nice location, easy to reach and the pub is very cosy and fun. They have several board games and also darts. Bed was comfortable and for a 1 night stay the room is okay.

This hostel has everything you need and nothing you don’t. We loved getting a welcome drink at the pub downstairs. Although the pub was loud, our room was very quiet.
