The staff were absolutely fantastic. We had tons of questions on what to do, how to get a bus etc and Alvin very friendly and patiently explained everything to us with a smile. The other lady (didn't get her name) was also fantastic and made sure we left with a good breakfast and good coffee. The hotel itself is also close to bus routes and was very easy to find and get too.

Double room with shared facilities on the first night in the block opp the main hostel The double room itself was spacious and cleaned. The two shared bathrooms and kitchen were in a dreadful state. None of the shared areas seemed cleaned. We could not park on the first night but they recommended one not too far.

We had two separate bookings for two nights for two rooms. One night with shared facilities and the second night with ensuite. This hostel has two buildings - rooms in the main building where the reception is, is fine. We had one single room with shared bathroom for the first night and two ensuite rooms for the second night in this main building. Ensuite rooms were clean, the shared bathroom were clean, as was the kitchen. You need to try and ensure that your rooms are in this building as the facilities across the road was not good.

Room hot and no ac

Perfect location with amazing views. Short drive to Stoos ridge hike. Steps away from town square with shops and restaurants. Free parking!

Breakfast was delicious. My husband and two teens booked a room of four to have for ourselves and it worked out great. The area was convenient to access the activities we wanted to do and it seemed less touristy than other areas of Switzerland that we have visited.

Their bar is downstairs. Loud drunks every night from 10pm to 3am. And chair in room had 3 legs. Not stable.

The room was a bit small. Everything was squeaky like the doors and the beds. so when somebody got up early he would definitely woke the others.

The pub and the location were great. Staff there are very welcoming and fun to be around. There was separate kitchen that we used a lot.

Received a complimentary upgrade to my room so I have no complaints! Location - right near the bus stop, stayed there to hike the Grosser Mythen so the location was perfect for me. Welcome drink upon arrival was a bonus. Clean and quiet area.

For such an affordatble price I would complain nothing about it!

Very much clean and comfortable with all necessary facilities you would ever need. Good location to bus transport and town center. And they have a fine bar&restaurant at the ground floor - a good place to recharge yourself after one-day expedition on the mountains. Absolutely one of the best hostels I've ever stayed!

I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer, but that was no fault of theirs.

Wow, friendly, accommodating, although the rooms are nothing special, they are exactly as advertised, which makes them very special. I have felt welcome my entire stay. This place is wonderful. The food is great, the atmosphere is friendly. Two big 👍👍!!!

They are working on this, but the showers had mold; there was a ventilation problem in that area that they are trying to fix. So hopefully that problem will be gone!

The location was amazing - one minute from the nearest bus stop. Gorgeous surroundings - comfortable rooms with lockers for each guest. Friendly and helpful staff. Washer and dryer on site.

Easy to go after hiking in Rigi

My room smelled very strongly of both stale cigarette smoke and an intense air freshener attempting to cover the smoke. The bass from a private party downstairs shook the whole room until late on Saturday night - a lot more disruptive than normal for a hostel above a pub.

The people are very nice. Access to a shared kitchen, and it is quiet and welcoming during the week. I like the town and some of the rooms looked (and smelled) very nice.

Good place - close to some activities around. It was hostel but we had comfort room - it means with wc and shower in the room. The bathroom was very narrow and not so many space in the room. The beds were good. It was clean. The kitchen - you have to share with others, but it was clean, with necessary tools to prepare meal, everything is Ok. Free parking. Communication with the place was good.
