How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

If anything then I would recommend to clean the details of the room - meaning the window frames and hover the wooden floor in detail. Everything is really clean. For people with the eagle eye (like me) there might be little findings😉
Despite the fact that the hotel is between a street and a train track, it is quiet and charismatic. One can tell that the management and the staff is happy and all facilities are very modern and nicely composed. On top - the owner of the hotel is the chef and food is very good!!! Overall a very recommendable place.

really nothing to flag
This is a very nice hotel with all required facilities. our junior suite is big with a very modern decoration. The staff is amazing very helpful including the boss.

The toilet and shower rooms are separate from the rest of the room by glass walls. This was a bit inconvenient as light and noise are not blocked.
Very nice building with a modern part and a historical one. Very good buffet breakfast. Clean and modern room. Parking in front of the hotel.

No tea making facilities in the room, which was surprising
Excellent dinner in the restaurant and lovely breakfast on the terrace. The room was ideal for our needs with a permanent wheelchair user. The building is a stunning design. Staff were all extremely welcoming and helpful.

Everything was perfect
I liked the combination between traditional and modern style. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We decided to stop overnight last minute and didn’t regret our choice. I’ll mark the place for future trips. The food was excellent.

Only thing we didn't like was leaving this wonderful hotel .
During our 2 week European road trip we had to return as our first stay was amazing . The welcome from all staff , the room upgrade , the restuarant, the invitation to the dancing 💃downstairs with the locals, the breakfast , the goodbyes in morning ! Everyone treated us like Kings & Queens . 10/10 to all hopefully see you all next year.

I stayed here for my birthday. IT WAS INCREDIBLE! the staffs were so nice and the location was amazing. The staff upgraded our room and it was such a memorable birthday. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family. I will definitely visit again. Thank you once again to all the staff including the kitchen staff because the food was top notch. Loved every minute I was there !

When we checked in, restaurant was closed for the break time. But owner was so considerate he went into the kitchen started cooking...and he was an Excellent singer. Staff were awesome.

We came down to breakfast 15 minutes before closing and they were already starting to close things up. Not that much to choose from as I believe they had already removed some of the items. This lowered our overall experience during our stay quite a bit. However, Front desk staff was great and very helpful.
Nice and clean. Pretty unique layout of the room with an long arched panorama window.

Expensive but I guess Switzerland. Stange they charge for baby cots (was a surprise for me), but again very friendly as they just chargered for one kid (they could have charged for both)

Expensive for what it was, especially the restaurant. No double beds even though advertised as double beds. Weird shower / toilet arrangement.
