My room had an amazing view of the Lauterbrunnen waterfall. The staff in the pub downstairs were friendly. The room had a wash basin and a kettle which was handy. The accommodation was very good value for the area, but it is basic, so you should expect that when booking. In April the shared bathroom was mostly available without waiting. The Horner pub is a good place to hang out in the evening.

However, the hotel owner's willingness to go the extra mile and work with me on this was both surprising and highly appreciated. The location is excellent. The staff is superb and they go out of their way to cater for the guests. The facilities provided in the room are also quite nice.

Could have been a little noisy if the upstairs pub room was open but it was not.

Basic but perfect for what we wanted and good value for the location. The pub downstairs had a good atmosphere.

It's always very clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Whilst facilities are basic I would stay there again. The pub does good basic food as well so for a base to tour from its fine. I will be back for my third visit next year.

I booked a room with a shared bathroom for me and my son, I was a little skeptical but it exceeded my expectations, bunk beds were comfy and clean, the view from the room was amazing, the bathroom was clean and fresh towels were available. The location was great, and most of all the staff in the pub were amazing, very friendly and helpful, we will definitely stay here again…

Beds were not very comfortable. Shared bathroom was expected but the walls are very thin in the rooms and you can hear everyone moving about.
