Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomFantastic staff! Very friendly and helpful. Fantastic location - minutes from the railway station, the trams, buses and the airport bus. Perfect. We used our Baselcard loads - free public transport. A great idea! We ate at the Markthalle food court which sells a variety of food. From Basel we visited the Musée National de l'Automobile in Mulhouse. A must for car enthusiasts.

Great location, nice room (3bed), good breakfast and friendly staff. Parking was easy, as there are 5 free parking spaces directly in front of the hotel entrance. We rented a swim fish from the hotel, which was very convenient.

Beautiful hotel, kind and helpful staff, delicious various breakfast, extremely comfortable room, beds and bedsheets. Check out at 12, right in the center, free transportation card. Absolutely loved this place and will be back for sure.

United StatesThe place has a vintage vibe which is a bit odd and it feels kind of dated. Could barely find any power outlets to use in our room. No A/C and windows open to the outside so bugs get in. Not too bad aside from these nitpicks.
Spacious room - seemed very quiet and private. Directly at the train station which is very convenient. Overall a good place for a quick stay if you need it, which is pretty much the point of this train station hotel.

Prime location, Very nice looking hotel on the outside and including the foyer/lobby. The room is spacious and nicely presented, and a great view of the trams from the window. Really nice comfortable bed, an amazing shower. Friendly staff and very accomodating with a luggage service after our room checkout.
