No roles (Brötchen) at the breakfast maybe not that common in Switzerland like in Germany. The room was missing a bit of cosyness. The way uphill to get there was a bit exausting but doable.

Good value, nice people, simply but nice double room. Very comfortable mattress and bedding. We could even see the matterhorn from the window of our room and the breakfast was quite good, they even had a coffee machine, fruit juice and homemade hummus. Very central location and friendly staff. Fridge and one microwave for everyone available.

The room was quite small and modest for the price, but that's to be expected in Switzerland.

The view was spectacular of the Matterhorn and the included breakfast was a nice touch.

The motion detector light in the bathroom/shower room was pretty annoying when I was trying to take a shower after dark and it went out on me.

Excellent view of the Matterhorn! Probably one of the best in town. Pleasant staff and good facilities. There is a little shelf with a built in light next to the beds where you can also charge your phone etc. Also included in the room is a sink and big locker per each bed. The showers are good, although on a timer where you have to keep resetting it. The stalls have enough storage space with a shelf and hooks to hold your belongings with a curtain separating the shower itself, which is nice for not getting your things wet.

Room for 4 adults was a bit small and location was far from down town.

Breakfast was excellent with many choices Had dinner both nights we were there because it was very good and at a fair price. And we could bring our own wine and the hostel provided the glasses!

A bit of a hike uphill with bags from the train station and the room could have used a fan, it was pretty hot.

This hostel is a well-oiled machine - very helpful staff, quick processes, and an excellent breakfast included plus a cheap dinner option. We really appreciated the effort to provide gluten free rolls for my husband at breakfast. We had a small but functional private room with own bathroom, no view. Expensive for us but cheap by Switzerland standards.

there is no soap in the roam neither in the shower. For the price it could be available. The superior bunk bed is really difficult to come down. Super small rooms only with the bare essentials.

I got bitten alot by insects.

The view of the Matterhorn was incredible. The breakfast was plentiful and high quality. The bunk beds were comfortable. The showers were clean and powerful.

Common washroom, no pickup from station

The property is located on a relatively high location, 1.5 km away from Zermatt Station. A private room with common washroom. View from room was nice. Breakfast was very nice, with good variety of food selection.

The accommodation, flexibility, and staff were excellent. I spent two nights in differents rooms and were a 10 value for money to enjoy Zermatt

Nothing not to like here.

This hostel is great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hostel was clean and comfortable. The dinner was amazing and delicious and the breakfast was very comprehensive with many different options to help yourself to. We had a picture perfect view of the Mattahorn from our bedroom window. The location is slightly elevated so it has good views and we enjoyed a walk up the hill to a very pretty residential area with traditional houses. Showers were hot and clean. Comfortable sofas and coffee tables in the waiting area downstairs and very useful lockers to leave bags in while exploring before the train back to the airport.

There was no elevator, so it was quite a walk if you returned from sightseeing or hiking, as Zermatt does not have active public transportation (It's a car-free village). You can take an e-bus, but the timings can be tricky. Additionally, there was no shared kitchen facility available; however, coffee could be obtained from a machine for a fee.

The facility had a lovely breakfast and an amazing view of the Zermatt mountains. The room is adequate for a short stay.

The guy at the breakfast was abrupt and rude to the guest. We had just come in at 9:25, unaware breakfast ended at 9:30. We had barely grabbed our food as he began telling us (and everyone else trying to grab more food), no, we are closed now- right at 9:30. Not 9:32, not 9:40, right at 9:30. A bit rude.

The direction to the hostel was confusing because buses were not serving the stops due to construction? Anyway, there was no clear signs to the place
