Power points are set in and only take a very specific and odd shaped plug. So I couldnt use my adapter and couldn’t charge anything.

Great spaces, great staff, great breakfast, definitely clean. It’s a nice big spacious building. Location was really easy for public transport and just a nice spot in general. Free bag storage is very handy and helpful. Was only there for one night but I’d stay here again for sure if I come back to Zurich.

The outside looks a little deceptive - it’s less attractive outside, but inside was very welcoming and the staff were fantastic.

The only thing is: during summer, it's unbearable to sleep in a room full of people without at least a vent. That was very hard. There weren't any more vents available at the front desk.

Nothing really - just a ‘heads up’ it is up a bit of a hill from the tram stop! No biggie just keep in mind if you have lots of luggage! This would not put us off from returning!

Our overnight stop off here made me remember all that is great about youth hosteling. The vibe was so warm and friendly. The staff at reception were super helpful and welcoming and the place was spotless including the shared bathroom facilities. We had a great night’s sleep in a private family room, enjoyed the dinner and breakfast immensely and also spent time in the comfortable communal area playing games and table tennis. It wasn’t far at all from a few public bathing spot on the lake too!

It was just a little bit warm inside the room, I guessed their AC isn’t that working that we need to open the window just to cool it down.

No other hostel can be better in this price in Zurich. Well-connected with public transport, reaching there is not a problem. Super helpful & agile staff round the clock. Neat property from one corner to another. Don't miss if you look for a budget stay in Zurich. Strongly recommended.

It's a bit away from the city, even though you can reach it by public transport if you want to drop your luggage you'll pay quite a bit in transport fee.

Atmosphere felt more like a family hotel then hostel, not lively in finding people to give tips of area, but not on hostel to sort

Location is a little out of the city centre. Could have more privacy in rooms, such as a simple curtain.

Good storage facilities in room. Sink in room. Separating door between bed area and locker area is a great idea to allow minimal disruption for anyone getting their luggage early or late in the day. Good bathroom/shower facilities. Great breakfast on offer. Friendly staff. Large seating area in lobby for anyone waiting to check in, or needing time indoors after checkout. Some souvenirs on sale.
