Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There were some things certainly lacking, the kitchen for example didn’t provide a knife to prepare meals, there was no dish soap or tea towels and when requested was advised to clean up with the hand wash in the bathroom. I had to keep requesting extra bath towels as they only provided one and the room although large was lacking warmth in the way of art, decor and felt a bit sterile. The pillows were far too flat and had to request extra of these as they only provided two (most hotels offer 4 plus extra towels). There was quite a bit of street noise at night also.
Location was convenient and walking distance to restaurants. I liked that I could open windows and sleep with fresh air and the spaciousness of the suite was great. The closest gym is at the train station for those wanting a good workout (10 minute walk).

Accommodation is located in the historic center of the town. The hotel is modernly equipped. Parking is possible in the adjacent parking lot approx. 75 meters from the hotel, but it is not included in the accommodation price.

No private parking, which might be useful if arriving with rental car.
It's located very central, you don't need a car. The old town is just a one minute walk away.

Location is Not easy to access if you have luggage. Taxi service isn’t good. Felt a bit rushed by staff upon arrival to get us to our room, we are foreigners and had questions but didn’t feel we had enough time to get them answered.
Close to shopping and food. Wonderful walking right outside by the river.

Nothing negative to report
Hotel is right in the middle of this very pretty town and right on the river. As we were travelling around Switzerland using only trains and other public transport, the hotel was in a great spot too. Not far from the station and right next to a busy bus stop. Friendly staff, nice comfortable room. Good breakfasts.

Perfect location close to the city center. Nice comfortable room, clean. If you like quiet, then ask for room away from the street. However then your view will be towards apartments. Breakfast was also perfect

No parking provided yet advertised as having. Then we found it but we’re not allowed to use it. No temperature control in the rooms. Lights were very difficult to operate… Staff could not be found when needed…

It's outrageous, that a 4-star hotel has unfriendly and rude staff. Tbh, in this hotel, I've had most probably the worst check-in experience in my entire life, they've asked so many redundant questions and information, including insurance and address of living. The sink in the bathroom was clogged, so it was impossible to take a shower normally. It's quite upsetting that for this amount of money you'll get a poor service in return.
The view from the room was nice.

We got the worst room what I ever got. It was on the ground floor, window was completely shaded ( meaning like no window) The traffic noise was the same as when you are outside . No chance to sleep. I don’t understand the hotel’s behavior like this, they have good / better rooms on the higher level , but you got the the worst ( no chance to change because there was no reception) . The hotel was not full. what they think , do I recommend it , come back ?

No staff n reception on arrival and very poor explanation of how to enter. No info on WiFi, not staff at breakfast - it was like a Formule 1 but at 4-star hotel price!
