Loved everything about this stay. Wasn't expecting much as it was a stop over stay between Bern and Grindelwald but loved the location, the room and the staff. If we had known, we would have stayed longer. Did not have the opportunity to experience the restaurant.

AustraliaLovely hotel in a very central location for exploring the highlights of Thun. Staff are friendly and our room was neat and tidy with air con. Breakfast was good too. The local swimming spot (Aarebad Thun) is just a short walk from the hotel which is a refreshing, fun activity on a hot summer day.

United KingdomGreat location - only 10 minutes walk from the station, and everything else on its doorstep (shops, museums, cafes, restaurants and amazing walks around lake Thun (we hiked all the way to Gunten via the Panoramabrücke Sigriswil bridge, took the paddle steamer to Spiez and then the free bus back to Thun). Hotel was comfortable and very clean. Really glad we tried the Hotel's own restaurant as food was excellent, plus bar across the road (also owned by the Hotel) was a great place drink at.

SwitzerlandEverything was fine. Coffee/tea was in the corridor, not in the room, but I kinda liked it, because you get better selection in the shared corridor, than what you would normally get in your private room. Bathroom was a bit too small.

Great location, between the castle and the river, directly on the square. Our tower room looked out on the square (see photo), which was an amazing view and looked like it might be noisy but was quiet. Two common spaces with coffee machines and seating to relax after a meal or bring your own food. Friendly staff. Lots of character. Good buffet breakfast.
