SwitzerlandSo annoying, double room has two separate mattresses instead of a queen one. Way too expensive for value. Impersonal, 15.- for a cheap breakfast that did not even offer fresh soft-boiled eggs. Cheap jams, everything single packed instead of valuing homemade, regional products as other places serve in the valley. It’s pretty obvious they try to save as much as possible while providing as little service as possible. No hospitality. No warmth. No charms. It was not even 11am when we were rushed to leave our room on a Sunday morning. Definitely not cosy. We went there because we were trekking and had to but we certainly won’t come back, nor recommend the place because it’s too expensive for the value.
It’s super new, including the windows and facilities. Hence noise proof windows which was very nice. Location is great. Right in the middle of the village and easy to find. We liked the white bed sheets and towels, plus the spacious showers. Though we felt that was a bit exaggerated too and made little sense to us to have two showers in one room instead of separating them. All in all our stay was fine.

Very convenient access from the train station made it really easy to get to and from Neuchâtel. Also nice if you plan to do the Creux du Van hike.

SwitzerlandEverything was fine for me. Of course you can not expect a comfortable hotel room but for a multible-bed room this was more than OK. And the L'Auberge can nothing do about the snoring of some people ;-).
I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room, toilet and shower. We stayed in a 10 bed room and had plenty of space. We have not used the restaurant but the meals looked very well. I took part on a running event and the accommodation also organized breakfast and a shuttle taxi early in the morning. I have not used it but I found it very nice from the L'Auberge. Ideal starting point for the hike to "Creux du Van".
