No restaurants or shops nearby. You need to go to interlaken Ost for everything. The cleanliness is good but not top notch. Found spots in the bedsheet and blanket. Also, there are molds in the shower curtain. The train to reach there is not so frequent. So, need to plan accordingly.

The view from the balcony is outstanding with the turquoise lake and mountains. The staffs are very friendly and helpful . They are also responsive of every queries. We reached there half hour earlier from the check in time and they allowed early check in as the room was ready. One of the staffs also helps us to carry one luggage in the upper floor. There is a shared kitchen consisting of stove, microwave, freeze and utilities which is very helpful. The location is quiet and peaceful. It’s around 10 minutes away from Interlaken Ost by train. They also have luggage storage facilities.

It was a very pleasant surprise- better than expected

Was a nice surprise - conveniently located, with spacious room and balcony overlooking the lake. Spacious convenient parking, 3 Min to the teain station and 5-7 Min to the nice small beach. Very attentive staff, with all recommendations and small gifts we felt ourselves very welcomed there- thank you very much again. Regret to stay just 1 night and hope to return for longer time

The access to hotel was not clear and it’s hidden from the road. It’s quite uphill so heavy luggage should be avoided. We requested two beds option but we were given one bed with two mattresses. We stayed there multiple night so were very uncomfortable. We woke up with body aches every morning as the mattresses and pillows are very worn out. The room had a beautiful view but was very old and small to move around. The bathroom had a distinct smell, may be due to older plumbing. The wood floor needs fixing. Overall we enjoyed our stay but wouldn’t have stayed longer if there was cancellation option.

The manager and the caretaker lady who also serves breakfast were very polite and friendly. The view from the room and breakfast area were beautiful.

The hotel rooms are quite small and the wall was pretty thin. So we can hear next door people talking. But once it pass 10/11pm, it was quite. People respect the rules of the hotel and becomes quite. The hotel breakfast was good and the view from the restaurant was beautiful. The reception lady (sorry I forgot her name) super friendly and nice.

The location was great. It is far from the train station but we were able to take the train to the hotel which is only extra 10 mins. The hotel was on the small hill and overlooking a lake which is beautiful scenery. U can also walk from the hotel to the lake to take the boat to Istwald which is another beautiful town. The boat ride is covered by the Swiss train pass. The lake is absolutely gorgeous and stunning. Worth the ride even if u have to pay for the ride.

There were 4 people/staff who welcomed us(3men, 1 woman). However, nobody offered to help us carry some of our stuffs(carry on luggages, paper bags, bag) on 1 flight of stairs to the room(no lift). Fortunately, on the way down the following day, 1 guy offered to carry 1 luggage down.

Beautiful view of the lake, has balcony facing the lake,friendly and accomodating welcome. There was coffee and tea with water boiler in the room, haif dryer and flat iron.

The only downside is that there is just one train per hour, which can be a bit inconvenient if you miss it or need to return to the hotel urgently. Also Niederried is not covered in Interlaken daily pass. So you have to pay for train tickets unless you have a Swiss travel pass.

The view of Lake Brienz from the balcony was absolutely stunning and made my stay truly special. The hotel is also just a short walk from the train station, which was very convenient. I enjoyed the tasty breakfast each morning.

It’s a bit bizare expecting traditional Swissness inside and outside the Hotel to witness a mixture of Indian Interieur ,Lack of the fine details No aircon can be a problem Rather hard matress A rather simple breakfast with limited choices Considering the Price Tag it may cater for some foreigners hoping to feel home far away

There was only stairs which made it hard if you have suitcases. We also found our bathroom not completely clean which hairs on the floor and a dirty glass however sometimes these things can be missed

The overall construction is very old. The bathroom takes time after you use to dry the smell. No fan or AC is difficult during warm nights.

The wonder Lake view from the room cannot be matched with anything else. The Hotel is very close to the railway station and the hotel gives you free train ride for your stay
