We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesThe location was on the main street, which was nice since we only had to walk two minutes from the train station. However, it was very loud at night (with the windows open) and hard to get a good nights rest.
Very clean apartment! We loved having an open kitchen and living room. The host brought us a crib and highchair for our 18-month-old daughter!

United StatesNo parking - We had to park in the nearby train station’s parking for CHF16/day. It was very close to the apt but a little bit hard with luggages.
The owner/manager sent an email with detailed information about how to get the key, and some other info which was very helpful.

United StatesIt was warmer they were used to, but we did get a nice breeze by opening the windows. I wish it had a washer for our clothes.
Amazing location, so close to the train station. You can see the beautiful iconic waterfall from just a few steps outside the apartment. Great communicated from the host with very clear instructions. We loved having this as a home base for so many great adventures nearby.

Beautiful apartment, exceptionally clean. Bathroom was beautiful. Only thing I would add would be a carving knife to cut the lovely fresh bread sold locally. Air conditioning would be nice as it's quite noisy to have the windows open.

IndiaFirstly, the listing wrongly says it is a 1 bedroom apartment - it's actually 2 bedrooms! Such a lovely apartment, so conveniently located close to the train station. Fully functional kitchen, spacious living/dining area, a balcony overlooking the main street of the town. While the check in (4pm) and check out (10am) times are a bit tight, there is a storage room in the ground floor so we could leave out bags and continue with our sightseeing activities. The manager Christoph speaks great English, which helped, and is very prompt, and available on whatsapp. Highly recommend, and we would certainly stay here again if we visit Lauterbrunnen.

ChinaThe landlord didn't show up in person and only responded online. However, the response was surprisingly slow. Some questions took a day to be answered, while others were simply avoided. The landlord seemed to dislike guests.
