Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. ThailandWe arrived just 30 minutes before the official check-in time, and the reception informed us that we’d need to pay extra for early check-in. Honestly, that’s ridiculous. Charging for such a short difference feels unreasonable and not very customer-friendly.
The location is very good. Breakfast was okay — it might suit European tastes better. The room was nice, the bed was very comfortable and clean. It was also very quiet. We stayed on the 7th floor, right next to the elevator, and it was still peaceful. and a nice warm pool.

IsraelWe came for a special occassion that I mentioned to the staff before. And they did nothing. So just a heads up, if you’re coming to celebrate some special occasion do not except anything from the hotel. I mean they will add the things that you bought, but do not except anything else.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It is located close to the city center, you might need to work but it is so beautiful around, it is not the problem. It has good breakfast, not that big but fresh. It has an underground parking for an additional payment

Hotel is located in a quiet place, very close to the lake side. Around 1km from the city centre of Lugano. Breakfast was excellent, big choice, warm dishes. Parking is available for additional price.

Great location, though a bit of a walk to the city center. Convenient parking available directly under the hotel for 23 CHF per day. Rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. City Pass included with the stay.

United KingdomI loathe the coffee machines at breakfast. Please bring back fresh coffee options. The room is small for 4 people, so wouldn’t work if you were here for a long time
We love the location of this hotel as it’s right next to the funicular for Mont San Salvatore and we love to go up and have dinner as the sun goes down at the restaurant at the top. The pool is delightful- towels provided, breakfast is great, staff lovely, and the room works well for a family - yes it’s a sofa bed for the kids but pulls out into two separate beds rather than one. Total bonus that the hotel provides a Ticino card giving you free travel around Lugano. Paradiso is 4 minutes by train from the main station or an easy bus ride.
