Dear Mrs. Clericetti, Thank you for the great review of our hotel! We are always very glad to have you staying with us and we try hard to offer an impeccable service. Unfortunately, our House has only 39 rooms with 5 different categories - so we are fully booked quickly. As we guarantee the check in at 3 PM it is sometimes hard to offer this service even if you were to pay more, we are sorry! We hope to have you staying with us again soon! Dear Georgia, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. Our house was first meintioned in 1291 so it is a very old building with special features, however this brings the charme that many guests love. Unfortunately, as for the construction work we do not have any influence on, this comes from the city directly and is different everyday. At the Front Office we are available 24h, maybe next time we could have figured out a better way to handle this issue and actually be able to offer you anything for compensation. Dear Lucia Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. We are truly sorry to hear that unfortunately you had an unsatisfactory experience with us, this is not what we try to achieve. We would like to start with the good things first, we are happy that you enjoyed our free coffee and tea area with our little sweets bar. As for the room and its special to unique features we would like to point out that we are a historical building where our rooms come with little space that is why a huge wardrobe would not be suited and would take away a lot of space. Thank you for mentioning that the shower is not convenient for showering since water is leaking onto the floor, as you said, it might be helpful to cover it with a curtain. We will surely consider, and we will take note on this. It is surprising to hear that our reception team was not helpful with the luggage. We make sure to help where we can of course at a time where we are able to. However, if there is a receptionist working alone and there are other guests waiting, they are unable to help right away. We very much are interested in knowing how exactly this situation happened as well as for the aggressive part – therefore we would appreciate if you could contact us regarding this matter since this is not at all what we stand in for and would be a first time for us to hear. Our WIFI option is given from our main company and surely does not apply to whole of Switzerland but the majority. Since it is an open network, you must verify your persona – this is only possible through your personal data such as phone number or credit card details. We currently uploaded another way to make those steps easier for our guests, be reassured that we try hard to deliver a good and easy way to connect into our WIFI given the options we have. Dear Mariana, Thank you for the great review of our hotel, even though you had some troubles regarding the noise and sloppy floors. We are very sorry to hear that, our Hotel is a very old (around 730 years old) building where we are not allowed to change the main structure so some rooms appear to have a sloppy floor or other historical elements. This again is the special charme o our House. The Niederdorf is famous for its night life during the weekend this is almost a must go to, but of course we understand that it can be a bit noisy sometimes, we are sorry that this interrupted your sleep.
