We didn't have a proper hot water under the shower

it is a nice, family run (if im not mistake) hotel. Very well located and with a helpful staff and a friendly doggo. We had a swift stay there as we were visiting the alps in different places. We had the amazing front - Alps - facing room which was amazing both at the sunset and sunrise.

I had a warm welcome after a day hike, the location and the surroundings are beautiful. I also had an excellent dinner. Spent a single night but the place is convenient also for a longer stay.

There was blonde hair on the hairdryer and neither of us was blonde. The restaurant downstairs need to fix its hygiene issues. I saw them serve food from a serving table placed next to the toilet. When the chef/server dropped a napkin on the floor, he simply picked it up again and used it to wipe the plate he was serving to a guest.

It was a charming old-style hotel. The hotel manager was very kind, friendly and cheerful. She fetched us from the Gondola Station herself. The room was comfortable enough. I believe the hotel was one of the first hotels at Bettmeralp.

As it was mid summer the room was hot at night with no cooling so had to open the balcony door and the room door to get cross breeze to be able to sleep

Location is perfect for access to the lift up the mountain. Breakfast was good. The reception assistance was great, very friendly and helpful. Go for the Dinner special that they offer guest - very good!

the breakfast was classic Swiss breakfast and somewhat light. if you didn’t get there at 8am, they didn’t restock things. the Restaurant on property while delicious was overpriced compared to other similar restaurants in Bettmeralp. The hotel has a shuttle to the gondola station (which is a 10 minute walk uphill to the hotel when you arrive) but don’t make it clear how to order it or if it’s included? would be nice if they offered more info for check in and a map of the area.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel! Having never been to Bettmeralp, I was unsure what to expect. as far as location, it was pretty easy to access both sides of the Bettmeralp ski areas. Took a little while to figure out how to ski back/reach the lifts and felt the staff could have done a better job explaining that access. In the Summer, this would be great. in the winter with ski gear and freezing weather, the room felt a little claustrophobic and small. But it’s well priced for what it is. the view from the hotel was phenomenal. and the room was warm.

The staff were great and happy to provide recommendations. I ended up extending my stay by a day and they were flexible with me on that. The breakfast was simple but good and the on-site restaurant was quite good. I showed up.late for check-in and while the desk is only manned from 8-1800, my room was ready and my key was left for me to pick up. The mattress seemed.to he brand new and was quite comfortable.

Wonderful service… really friendly and helpful. We got great advice about hiking routes and when we asked in the restaurant for some hot water for tea, they gave us a whole thermos so we could drink tea in our room. The room itself was very charming with a beautiful view from the balcony. We ate dinner at the restaurant, which was also great! Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
