What a dream to stay at the top of the World! I stayed in the little private room and it was perfect for two nights. Cozy and clean :)

    Nothing!

Mountain Hostel is a vibrant and welcoming place, perfectly located with stunning surroundings. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, with excellent staff and respectful guests.

Breakfast could start a little earlier than 7:30 am

I woke up to the most insane view of the mountains with snow on top!

No personal bathroom in the private room

Location was amazing. Hangout area was great & the outdoor dining.

It is a hostel with many beds in a room, very tiny spaces to slide into. Not much space to put backpack. The bathroom is shared men/women. Although it was well priced & that is how mountain huts are. Some of the rooms are a bit more spacious.

The view and the surrounding nature were beautiful, and I especially enjoyed the terrace with the restaurant.

I didn’t like the inside of the hostel. The room with the beds felt like one big shared bed where you sleep directly head-to-head with strangers. Normally I have no problem sleeping in hostels, but this was too much for me.

The best vibes, best views, best food! Perfect for solo travelers

Since I stayed in a mixed room there was obviously gonna be people snoring, the hostel offers earplugs though! The beds are really close to each other

A really cool spot in the mountains with breathtaking views. The highlight of the stay was the amazing atmosphere — friendly people, great energy in the evenings, and unforgettable conversations around the campfire. Truly a wonderful experience.

Great atmosphere in a gorgeous village with plenty of good hikes and walks around. Staff were friendly, great food at the hostel, private room was cosy, seating areas outside had the best views with a homey vibe.

    Nothing :)

I have stayed at this place before, loved it and now staying here again and seeing all the improvements is a real gift. The accommodation itself is simple - I slept in a dormitory with capsule-like beds and a direct view to the mountains. The breakfast provided is all you need for a good start into the day and the on site pizza that doubles as dinner is delicious. It remains one of my favourite hostels in the mountains and would choose it again and again for my explorations in the Jungfrau region. The area is just perfect.

I should have probably stayed longer.

The location in the village, the breakfast and the pizza We were able to do our laundry in the afternoon The staff and other travellers were all very special and nice

The bathroom was a little crowded and messy (water splashing everywhere) because there are so many occupants in the hostel compared to the size of the bathroom Of course it is a hostel so you have to deal with the bunks but it was very crowded and stuffy sometimes

The view, the facilities and the staff were helpful. World class location and overall fantastic.

The flies! I understand this is apparently part of Swiss farm life due to nearby livestock, however we didn't not experience that level of flies anywhere else in our trip. We felt there definitely could be more done to lower the level of flies as it was pretty crazy. Like you'd be sitting in the communal area with literally dozens of flies sitting on you, an open bin in the kitchen and only one small fly zapper in the kitchen.

Picturesque place, amazing view and great staff. The interior is lovely, piano and guitars are available for those who want to play. 😜😊 Toilets and bathrooms were very clean. The weather was bad during our stay, it was raining, but that didn't affect the beauty of this place. The most beautiful village in the Swiss Alps.

There are a lot of flies, especially at breakfast time.☹️

Very cozy and welcoming vibe, super social and stunning location. Nice staff and tasty pizzas

Very close quarters sleeping arrangement in the dorm, however this didn't really bother me. Made it feel more like a mountain hut.
